Cookie Girl digital image from All Dressed Up Stamps-NEW RELEASE

This is one of the 3 New Release images offered for December over at All Dressed Up Stamps!  She is called "Cookie Girl" and was a lot of fun to color and create with!  I really wish I could show you a better photo that shows the rich purple that is on both the design paper and cardstock but I can't seem to get my camera or editing program to cooperate!

I used a gingerbread cookie design paper for the top paper, cardstock for the bottom section, and used the backside of the DP to create a "ribbon" look across the middle.  I used 3D dimensional foam dots to highlight the image.  I always like to finish the inside of my cards, with lots of room for personal messages.  Sentiments are from clear stamps from my stash.

Be sure and also check out the ADU Challenge that runs for a month, from the 14th to the 14th.  We'd love to see your creations and it's a great way to add to your digital library!  Can't wait to see you!

Winter Weather and Christmas Pets at All Dressed Up

Looks like this young man is getting in the Christmas Spirit, using "Christmas Pet" digital image from All Dressed Up Stamp company.  He's giving his dog an early Holiday bone and he's got his Reindeer wooly cap on. The chilly weather must be coming even though he's got his coveralls and sweatshirt on-even the dog's got a Santa hat on.  I also cut out mittens and used a chipboard sentiment to complete the card.
I love using copic markers for my coloring; also using distress inks and blending brushes for the backgrounds.  I have a cobblestone stencil that I love to use from a company called "Clearlybesotted"-it's great!  The inside of the 6x6 card is also finished with a festive paper and a note from a sentiment page.
We hope that you will visit our happy home at ADU--There are so many digital images for the Seasons and Occasions.  All unique and beautiful.

New Release time at All Dressed Up Stamps-using Christmas Theme

It won't be long before Christmas is right around the corner!  Oh My!  Thank goodness for All Dressed Up Stamps and their digital images such as the one I used for this card.  I'm using "Sledging Time", a cute little boy and his dogs pulling his sled.
I used multiple copic markers for their coloring and a water-based white Sharpie marker for the snow.  Matted with a cranberry curvy mat, red berry branched background paper and stamped with a winter sentiment.

I always like to finish the inside of my cards so on this one I used the same cranberry background and used one of sentiment "postcard" size that are so popular now~ you know there are usually 6/8 or more on a 12 x 12 textured paper.  I accented it with 2 wooden trees.  All it needs is your personal note and it's ready.

Hope you have a chance to see all the new releases and come and create with us at All Dressed Up Stamps!

A Tag for All Dressed Up Stamps Monthly Challenge

A GIFT TAG for your gifts!!

Using the great image from our resident artist, Wendy Burns, called For You , I send you an invitation to participate in our Monthly Challenge found here:  https://alldressedupchallenges.blogspot.com  We would LOVE to see your inspirationđź’—
As I pointed out, this image is great attached to any kind of present!  I printed her out digitally, used a label die for the shape and proceeded to color her with my favorite medium, Copics.  After masking her off, I used a greenery sprig stencil for the background.  The Stampin' Up ink pad, Pear Pizzazz, and a blending brush made the perfect setting.  I hot glued assorted flowers onto the cardstock, punched a hope in the top of the Tag and then threaded 3 complimentary colored rayon ribbons at the top.

All Dressed Up NEW RELEASE using FESTIVAL BOY

Hello All you lovers of All Dressed Up Stamp Images!!!  Hope you're not melting out there like we are in Illinois -- I'm trying to think of cooler times and places like the FALL Festivals coming up!

You see my husband and I have a Guitar Shop on our property, and we are starting to get organized for the Festivals and the Holidays.  That makes this ADU image called FESTIVAL BOY perfect to use for the New Release card post.  This quirky image is perfect to use for that "Hippie" relative or the youngster that's lovin' the 60's.  Colored with copics, I used a couple of metal dies for his framework and an accent showcasing his head.  And you KNOW that I would have some guitar cardstock in my craft room!  The inside features more of THAT paper and I used some cardstock accents for added interest.

Come on over to All Dressed Up and join in our New Release event with your creation--We would love to be inspired by your talent.  Can't wait to see you there!

It's time to Garden over at ALL DRESSED UP STAMPS!! ATG Challenge

This is my latest DT creation for All Dressed Up Stamps Challenge using "Little Gardener"--Perfect for this time of year.  We have already planted most of our personal garden and the Iris and Daylillies are getting ready to pop.

With this image I chose to fancy cut it, using some braces on the back side for stability.  She has the most adorable puppy in the wheelbarrow.  I stamped the 6x6 card background using Horizon Lines-Reflection stamps from Sweet November Stamps, which gave me clouds, trees and shrubs.  The sentiment and sand/gravel are both from S/U.

The ADU Challenge will last for a month so be sure to make your creation with an ADU image  and enter the challenge.  The Design Team votes on the winners, no random number here and we can't wait to be inspired and new ideas!

Thanks for looking....Carolyn

Monthly ATG Challenge at All Dressed Up Stamps!

It's time for the All Dressed Up Stamps monthly challenge---Yeah!!!!  Our Challenge runs from the 15th of the month to the 14th of the next month and you can enter multiple times, as long as you use an ADU image.
The image I wanted to use is called "Hello Squirrel" and can be found in the ADU Shop using this link.  It really makes me think of S P R I N G!!  I decided to try a new technique on this card.  Because I wanted to create a scene, I used 2 different clear acrylic background stamps from SNS and inspired by my friend, Amy Young.  I inked certain areas and not others, overlaid the stamps and merged the images.  Great thing about our craft is that you have choices--using digital stamps that are offered at All Dressed Up Stamps so that I can resize them to whatever size I need for a card and then using clear acrylic stamps so that you can see where to locate the design on your card.  The best of both worlds!

On this 6x6 card, I inked the outside of the image with Memento Ink as there wasn't room to place a mat underneath.  Out of my scrap stash, I used this kraft color gingham paper and was lucky to still have the border edge on it.  I always finish the inside of my cards, and this time is was with a flowered vintage looking paper.
I hope you will all come join our challenge - we'd love to see your creations so that we too will be inspired!  Thanks for looking!

All Dressed Up FEBRUARY New Releases

**To my Followers, my apologies for being gone for so long.  I have been having some surgeries, kidney and hand recently, and have just not been up to par to sit at the computer.  Hopefully that is all behind me and you will see more postings.

On a much more interesting topic, This is the date for the All Dressed Up Stamps NEW RELEASES and  my card is made using the image "Kitty Hearts".  There are so many ways to color her in-I used copics- and even her hair could be colored using a line technique as I did or, in highlight shading.

As she was sitting on a branch, I decided to create a scene where she is sitting among the tall trees looking up to the sunny blue sky.  I used a tree template from The Stencil Market and cloud stencil and sentiment from my stash.

There are many images by our resident Artist, Wendy Burns, in the All Dressed Up Store .   There is also a month long challenge that starts on the 15th of each month and it can be found here .  Come join us!
