Always Anything Goes at Craft Your Passion--Imagine That! Digis by Kris is sponsoring us!

Have I mentioned that at times I'm thrilled with the option to use colored digital images on cards?!  Well such is the case this week at our Craft Your Passion Challenge.  I am using a image called "Autumn" from Imagine That! Digis by Kris
and it's perfect just the way it is!!  AND I needed this time Cruncher for sure this week!
So I decided to use several layers of digital papers that I had on my computer and placed them on a 6x6 format.  Everything BUT the sun cardstock sticker in the corner, the loose leafs and epoxy orange dots are flattened on a digital format.  The images from Kris are very crisp and clear true colors so I love the picture she created in her digi.  The image if you were to purchase would also include the b&w image that you could design just the way you wanted to!  Great versatility!
I always finish the insides also of my cards so once again using the digital papers, the background is a grungy green and the yellow polka-dot is a full size paper that I just chopped down and made it like a ribbon.  Believe it or not Google png Fall Images and this row of leaves will pop up among other great accents.  I shrunk it down and attached it-easy peasy!  Most of these are free images/photos that are online for you to use.  The sentiment is also in this set from Kris- I just set it off with green epoxy dots.  Thanks for taking a look at my creation and check out our Always Anything Goes Challenge and get your project ready to post!
I'd like to enter this in the following Challenge:

Lacy Sunshine-Anything goes Challenge-Christmas in July

I know that you all have heard of Christmas in July events--gotta think of someway to beat the heat right?  Well, Team A from the Lacy Sunshine Creative Team wants to welcome you to the bi-weekly challenge!  We are featuring the Whimsical group of images created by Heather Valentin called Briar Whimsies...they live in the woodlands among the fairies and mushrooms.  On rare occasions it snows in the forest so, you might see some snow!
The image I'm using is Mushi Whimsie Christmas and she's using her mushrooms as Christmas Trees.  She's very decorative herself in her Christmas Red and white "fur" trimmed outfit.  There was a lot of Flower Soft flying around my craft room.  Of course, there are ornaments hanging from the "Trees" and the festive red mushrooms are topped with the snow that fell in her picture.  I felt like she needed to be on a forest dirt floor among all the other trees on the design paper--some of them are glossy embossed and glittery.  On the inside of the card is the coordinating paper that matches with both verses on the paper as well as a wonderful sentiment from my stash.
Please come and join us for a delightful Christmas in July with Lacy Sunshine-We can't wait to see your creations and get inspired!

Masculine Birthday using Tool Theme!

I'm having such fun making these masculine Birthday cards-these would even be cute for your kids to give to their Fathers!  The "tool" image is so realistic with the shadow casts...  I've always had lots of charms around-used to sell them on Ebay-so I decided to add a saw and a ruler charm to the stretch of Rickrack that accents this card. The 2 design papers are from the same set at Doodle Pantry as well as the sentiments.  I needed this set quickly so these pre-colored sets work SO well!  Put them on a card blank and do some matting and gluing and you've got a card.

Opportunity's Knock'in at Tiddly Inks Stamps! Join in the Fun!

Tiddly Inks Stamp Co. is giving all paper crafters a great opportunity to show off our creations with a Design Team Call!  Normally, these positions are hand picked.  However, they've decided to open the flood gates and have an Open Call and will get MANY submissions of artistic creations.
I'm submitting 2 in this post:
The first one is called SchoolGirl and is so appropriate for this time of year!  I fancy cut the image after coloring with copics, elevated her with pop dots.  I also cut an extra locker door, created a black space "inside" the locker, added the add'l door, and propped it open with the wedge of extra books on the floor.  Added an extra lock and she's ready to go.  If you follow me, you know that I often talk about my pre-teen Granddaughter that will be starting back to school soon.  With her long blonde hair, I couldn't resist this cutie and of course, had to add my fav twist -paper piecing.  I think she will be glad to receive this "note of encouragement" for a Great School Year!

**********************************************************************
My second submission is a more personal one that gave me such a chuckle!  It is called I Love My Job and I'm sure represents many of my fellow crafters as they go about their daily routine.  There's many time that we all feel buried but we persevere through it and are stronger for it.  Tiddly Inks has so many of these cute digital images!
For the background "paper" I used a printed canvas from Recollections Signature line with timepieces printed all over it.  Perfect for feeling the pressure of the ever present Time Clock!  The edges were sealed with Fray Check which, when dry you can't even see-a must with canvas.  I printed the image on so wood grain paper so I could fancy cut the desk from it.  Of course, you had to have the emergency red phone, multiple papers done in creams/grays/and pale blues, and the much needed laptop.  The sentiment is from a SU set from my stash.  This will make the perfect card for a fellow worker that works hard every day to help us all out at the office.

I've seen so many absolutely Gorgeous creations already submitted for the DT call--they are one lucky group to have so many followers that are determined to join them.  A testimony to their place in the Digital world!  Good Luck to All!
