A GIFT TAG for your gifts!!
Hello All you lovers of All Dressed Up Stamp Images!!! Hope you're not melting out there like we are in Illinois -- I'm trying to think of cooler times and places like the FALL Festivals coming up!
You see my husband and I have a Guitar Shop on our property, and we are starting to get organized for the Festivals and the Holidays. That makes this ADU image called FESTIVAL BOY perfect to use for the New Release card post. This quirky image is perfect to use for that "Hippie" relative or the youngster that's lovin' the 60's. Colored with copics, I used a couple of metal dies for his framework and an accent showcasing his head. And you KNOW that I would have some guitar cardstock in my craft room! The inside features more of THAT paper and I used some cardstock accents for added interest.Come on over to All Dressed Up and join in our New Release event with your creation--We would love to be inspired by your talent. Can't wait to see you there!

This is my latest DT creation for All Dressed Up Stamps Challenge using "Little Gardener"--Perfect for this time of year. We have already planted most of our personal garden and the Iris and Daylillies are getting ready to pop.
With this image I chose to fancy cut it, using some braces on the back side for stability. She has the most adorable puppy in the wheelbarrow. I stamped the 6x6 card background using Horizon Lines-Reflection stamps from Sweet November Stamps, which gave me clouds, trees and shrubs. The sentiment and sand/gravel are both from S/U.
The ADU Challenge will last for a month so be sure to make your creation with an ADU image and enter the challenge. The Design Team votes on the winners, no random number here and we can't wait to be inspired and new ideas!
Thanks for looking....Carolyn
On a much more interesting topic, This is the date for the All Dressed Up Stamps NEW RELEASES and my card is made using the image "Kitty Hearts". There are so many ways to color her in-I used copics- and even her hair could be colored using a line technique as I did or, in highlight shading.
As she was sitting on a branch, I decided to create a scene where she is sitting among the tall trees looking up to the sunny blue sky. I used a tree template from The Stencil Market and cloud stencil and sentiment from my stash.
There are many images by our resident Artist, Wendy Burns, in the All Dressed Up Store . There is also a month long challenge that starts on the 15th of each month and it can be found here . Come join us!
As summer draws to a close, lots of people are taking their last trip to the shore. This is a card I made for the All Dressed Up Stamps monthly Challenge as a member of the Design Team.
I used the image called Ship Ahoy drawn by our Artist in residence, Wendy Burns. You can see all of her images at the ADU store found here.
I love this image because of the flowing folds in the dress and the cute pigtails! I fancy cut her out by hand and then mounted the upper half of her body with foam dots for depth. The watercolor like "scene" is actually part of a 6x6 paper pad by P13, made in Poland, called Beyond the Sea. A magnificent collection that I knew right away was perfect for this card.
Come join us for this month's Challenge- The Design Team hand picks the winners for images. We want you to inspire us!
