Friendship Image from Polkadoodles-Winnie~Missed You So Much

 After the year we all had in 2020, this great image from Polkadoodles just about says it all.  I know I just crave hugs and really letting people know how much they mean to me!  This great digital stamp is called Winnie- Missed You So Much!  It can be found in their store here. 

 

 I used Copic Sketch markers on this stamp and here's the list of them:

After using a Mod Stitched rectangular Die to cut the image, I matted it with a subtle green cardstock.  Taking a lavender seam binding tape that I had crumpled up, I tied a bow for an accent.  I Stamped the sentiment in a lavender ink and added some clear micro seed beads to the center of some of the flowers on the design paper.  It's elevated up on Pop-Dots.

I always finish the insides of my cards with color-coordinated paper.  With this card, I added a sentiment block from a scrapbook page and now have a great card to send to a friend!

Snail's Pace Digital Image from Polkadoodles

 

The "Craze" that's really popular now is anything  with gnomes!  Well Polkadoodles has a new line of Gnomes that are SO amusing and you can find them here. 

The one that I've used in this card is called "Snail's Pace".    This image also comes in colored digital individually as well as in a bundle of other gnomes.  I added some cobblestones for her to walk on by use of a stencil and also added a subtle background that looks like green vines using a stencil for that also.  A Butterfly embellishment was added to the corner for dimension.  While I added a distressed paper in the inside, I haven't yet added a sentiment as it's so versatile:  Birthday, snail mail, get well soon, etc...  Thanks for checking Polkadoodles out-they're Great!

   

It's Spring at Polkadoodles! Ladybugs!!

*Happy Sunday Everyone!  Carolyn here, wanting to share with you a real Springtime card!  The image is called "Lily Bug Love-Hello from the Heart" from Polkadoodles and she's adorable!

Spring at Polkadoodles using "Just a Note"

 Hi Everyone, Carolyn here--Spring is coming!!!  I think this card for Polkadoodles just oozes fresh air, sweet smell of flowers, and the pitter patter of raindrops!  I used the image called "Just a Note" and it just makes me smile!

One other great die that Polkadoodles carries is the Flower Flourish set-now I only used the filigree small unit but there are 6 pieces! I cut mine from PD design paper and added buttons in the centers.  The papers used are from the Scrumptious Sugar pack and Winnie's Mermazing Ocean paper pack

       So many great goodies they have on their site and even a new Spring collection debuting soon!

Polkadoodles Frosty Smiles Collection featuring "Frosty Hugs"

Polkadoodles Gnomes are full of Heart- I'm Here Gnome Matter What

One of my favorite GNOMES from Polkadoodles is making his debut!  This is the "GNOME Matter What" clear polymer stamp and he's adorable!

From his mushroom mailbox to his floppy hat & bird, he's bound to give you a smile!  Colored in copics, I used some Fall colors for the image and added some "mountain" hills in his background-for that I used PD Cloudy Landscape Stencil PD8011.  You could use this for clouds, hills, snowy hills-lots of possibilities. 

The copics that I used are:

Browns: E11, E13, E31-33-34-35-37-30, E04

Shadows: W0-1-3-5, T3-5

Oranges: YR31, YR04-14-16-18, Y17

Greens: YG91-93-95, YG63, G43-46

New Snowmen collection at Polkadoodles: Frosty Smiles-Snowman Celebrate

 

Hi everyone, Carolyn here posting one of the adorable new Snowman collections over at Polkadoodles!  This image is a group of Frosty Friends is called : Frosty Smiles - Snowman Celebrate.  I had fun using different treatments to each of them and adding an "icicle bow with a charm" to the card.  I like using copics when I color because they blend so well.  Here's a list of what ones I used:

Frosty Smiles-New Friends digital image! Polkadoodles' latest Snowman Collection

 Hi Friends, Carolyn here bringing you my latest card from the Polkadoodles Snowman Collection found HERE!

The very back mat is a gorgeous Royal Purple, then a textured pine cone paper, then a die cut digital image.  I reversed the pine cone paper to a rich cocoa brown and black checked paper and used that as the double fishtail banner for the sentiment. The inside of the card is finished with a green snowflake design and a cheerful sentiment!

Frosty Smiles-Sweet Tweets Polkadoodles Digital Stamp

Carolyn here and I want to present Frosty Smiles-Sweet Tweets!  What a perfect card for that special person, especially on Valentines Day!  This digital image makes it SO easy to adjust the size for any card or project size.

You're GNOME-azing from POLKADOODLES- Adorable

I'm sure that you Crafty Folks LOVE Gnomes the same as I do!  Think it's just that Huge nose and full beards that just gives me a chuckle!  I'm thrilled to use my first Gnome from Polkadoodles called "Your Gnome-azing".  She's in her garden which is just where I like to be.  I used a combination of soft and deep colors on her, adding a "woven" look to her hat.  In addition, I used one of Polkadoodles many metal dies called Flower Flourish.  This die comes with solid as well as a filigree cut, so 6 flower sizes and shapes-very versatile.  I finished my flowers with buttons in the centers. After I aged the image with light brown ink, I matted it with blue cardstock and mounted it to one of the many paper packs found at PD!  This pack is called "Soft & Scrumptious" and IS Gorgeous.
There are so many crafting supplies at this great site, please check them out!  I think I have more GNOMES in my future.  They have a six new characters out right now and more to come.
 

Frosty Smiles Collection at Polkadoodles- Hello Frosty Snowman is a great one for Valentine's Day

 One of the newest collections over at Polkadoodles is the "Frosty Smiles" group and this one is called Frosty Smiles-Hello Frosty Snowman.  The Bundle can be found at this link here. 

They come digitally, black & white or pre-colored.  This is one of my favorites in the group, colored with my fav medium, copics.

For the card, I put a strip in the middle of the design paper of glitter heavy cardstock.  I mounted the image that I'd brushed Milled Lavender Oxide around the edges in the center. Stamped a sentiment from my stash (edged in diamond stickles) and then went crazy with snowflakes everywhere!! Gradient design paper in  the inside with another stamped sentiment.
