Thank You Mom! 2 CuteInk has adorable images!

Isn't this digi called "Sunflower Girl" from 2 CuteInk adorable?  I love her simple lines and great details making the finished project so easy to do. There are many digitals found in the Etsy shop of 2 CuteInk here  We have Anything Goes Challenges every 2 weeks with great prizes.
The image was colored with copics and then, using a 4.75 x 4.75 card blank from The Paper Cut (great smooth finish by the way) I double matted it with a perfect design paper-With SUNFLOWERS!  Added a sentiment from my computer and it's all ready for either a Mother's Day card or just a Thank you for your favorite person.

Lady Bug Hugs just in time for Mother's Day at 2 CuteInk Digital Designs

It's Thursday and my time to post a creation using a 2 CuteInk digital stamp.  I absolutely had the best time making this cheerful card for Mother's Day!  The image is called Ladybug Hugs and can be found here.  It's done on a 6x6 card blank from The Paper Cut-they are so smooth and a better weight than HL.

I used a textured raspberry polkadot Coordinations design paper and stamped the Love on the front.
On the inside I used a slanted stripe paper and stamped another swirly sentiment from the set-perfect for ladybug feet!  I think anyone's Mother would love to get this!
May 1st is coming:  don't forget to sign up for 2 CuteInk Newsletter and you'll receive a freebie!

Sweet Pea Stamps creation-Lovin' their Springtime Beauties for Mother's Day cards

What a great chance to work on some beautiful artwork from the Sweet Pea Stamps Store.  The image is called Spring Beauty ©Regan Kubecek and it was just done for pure enjoyment!
As usual, these images are very detailed and because of that, I really took my time coloring it with Copics.  There were these little bubbles through the "garden" that I chose to add little pearls to each one of them-gives dimension and some elegance~ Then I accented the corner with rolled cardstock flowers in 2 sizes, centers of white pearls, and yellow Guinea feathers glued in place.  That background paper, while I bought it probably for a Water feature, made me think of the dew on flowers.  I just love it.  Then in the inside I used a Basic Grey soft blue patterned paper with a square die cut and a Sentiment, simple but perfect for Mother's Day.  I lost my Mom many years ago but, I think of her so much and see the values and love of life that she instilled in me every day.  So often I pause to recognize what a true treasure she was to me and how I wish I had her close for one last hug and kiss.  Mother's Day is coming soon-Reach out to yours and let her know how much she means to you.
I'd like to submit this for the following challenges:
Creative Moments- ATG w/ Spring
Penny's Paper Crafty- One for the Girls

Mother's Day on Squigglefly's challenge..or Grandmother..or Mother figure~ come join us!

I've always had a tender spot in my heart for Owls..as did my mom...as does my daughter.  So what  a perfect card for Mother's Day.  That is the challenge for Squigglefly this Challenge~ or you can use the challenge for recognizing Grandmothers or a Mother figure in your life!  The image that I chose was Framed Owl by Fawn Palmer and it comes with 3 sentiments so that you can use it for several different occasions.  It's a very simple pattern but that makes it great because the focus then is directly on the owl.  I used some whimsical papers from my design stash and of course, my favorite embellishments-buttons.  Even stacked on top of each other!  On the inside is the complimentary sentiment with a prima flower and pearl accent center.  What a fun card!  Come show us your Mother's Day cards and if you use a Squigglefly image, you will be eligible to be a winner and get a free image of your choice.  There are many new artists debuting on the first weekend of May so be sure and check out all the new images!!

Mother's Day is coming soon~Flowers from Fred, She Said!

I've seen these style cards on several blogs lately and was determined to try them out!  I got carried away and ended up making 4 of them, all a little bit different.  But the greatest thing was that I was able to use the Happy Flower Set  from Fred, She Said! By using that multi-flower set, I was able to get several different looks.  I used a ready made card blank as a size pattern and then measured and cut out the Pot template. Two Terra Cotta colored pieces sandwiched together with foam dots made the perfect pocket for the slide out insert.  I mounted the flower layers on the insert and found just the perfect verse to make a Mother smile.  I wish all you Crafty Mothers out there a well deserved Day of Recognition!  Hope you spend the day basking in the Love of your Family and relaxing...cause the next day it's all back to the daily Routine!
