We're getting BEACHY over at All Dressed Up!

It's time for the New Release over at All Dressed Up Stamps and you can tell I want to be at the Beach!  The image I used is called "Bucket and Spade" and I think she's adorable!

This is only my second SLIMLINE card and I think I'm getting the hand of it~ after cutting my white base, I added this summery paper that already had the "washed, painted look" on both ends.  Perfect background!  I colored her with copics and then used 2 scenery stamps from KKS to make the Palm Trees, Sunshine, clouds and waves of sand-also the Sunny Days stamp.  I was a stamping fool on this one but it gave me a chance to try the technique of masking the image so I could stamp over it!
Before I stuck the image down, I wrapped turquoise and white bakers' twine around twice and added 2 charms, a seashell and sunglasses.

On the inside, I finished the card with the same background paper and used a flip flop stamp and sentiment to complete the card.  There are a total of 4 New Release image from our artist, Wendy Burns, so make sure you visit the ADU site to check out the other ones.  You'll fall in Love!

The Theme is WINTER over at Come and Get It Challenge-I'm featuring Ppinky Dolls!

Do you ever have an image you're working with that just puts a smile on your face and makes your project go quickly?  Well this image from Ppinky Dolls Art that I used on the Come and Get It Challenge was it for me- the THEME is Winter!
Now normally I would highlight the image right on the front of my cards but, with this image "Winter Walk", I wanted to accent the wispy hair and soul-searching eyes.  So using my circle die, I created a "peek-a-boo" hole which I then covered in a matching lime green embossed snowflake patterned paper.  The sentiment stamp is from KKS and perfect for so many things!  I think this trim makes it look like snowballs around the opening and I glued a silver snowflake charm to the seam.  When opened, now you can see the whole image that I colored with Copics.  Another sentiment from KKS great for Birthdays and an accent of silver balances the inside.
At Come and Get It, we have Challenges every week and have some Awesome Sponsors!  We really want you to come out and play-there are some wonderful prizes available and it's a great place to get inspired with new ideas!

The Little Angel announces the new Challenge at All Dressed Up--ATG 's w/ ADU image!

Hiya Dressy's
Welcome back to a brand new challenge.
As always the theme for our Blog Challenge is -
Anything Goes
but you must use a All Dressed Up Image.
Not got any? There are some gorgeous freebies -} here.
But please respect the rules!
Or you can buy any of Wendy's fab images from the All Dressed Up store -} here.
Now what could be easier than that?

We will randomly pick a winner to receive 3 images of your choice, and our DT will chose their top 3 creations.  We will invite one of these winners back as a guest DT for our next challenge.
I chose to use the image called "Little Angel" and I thought it was perfect for this time of year.  The front is covered with a deeply embossed silver and white paper, then it has a blue speckled paper on the second layer (reminds me of snow), that layer is wrapped with an organza ribbon and bow-I sewed 2 silver snowflakes under the bow.  The Angel is colored with copics and I've put Star Dust Stickles on the wings and the top edge of the angel's sleeves.  On the inside, it's the snowflake paper again with a great Christmas sentiment from KKS-they're always perfect!
We do hope you will find the time to play along - You have until the evening of the 14th to enter your creations using the link at the bottom of the challenge page.

All Dressed Up Stamps and Dilly Beans Stamps are sharing the SPOTLIGHT at Southern Girls Challenge this week!

All Dressed Up Stamps has some great images for us to use at Southern Girls Challenge-this one is called Mirror Mirror and I LOVE it!  Perfect card for that Tween in your life..  Our challenge this week was for something with texture so I chose design paper that has some embossed bling on the birds tail feathers And the addition of some charms to the dressing table and hanging from the buttons.
I've had these in my stash just waiting to find the chance to use them: perfume atomizer on the table, and a pearl glazed mirror and red nail polish bottle.  A mat of dotted swiss Bazzil frames the image~and I inserted some shiny silver mirrored cardstock in the oval mirror shape. (you can see the computer screen in the reflection).

I also decided to do another image from one of the other sponsors, Dilly Beans Stamps-they have some great images also!  The one I used is called "Hooter Framed" and such fun!  I mounted the copic colored image with a burlap styled mat.   I framed him in a Memory Box die cut that has a tree insert with green & cream punchie branches for some texture.  The "ribbon" that's got the copper ribbon slide through it is actually the trim edge on the design paper-more and more companys are using pretty trim for their advertising.
There you go-2 choices of great stamp organizations that will help you come up with some brilliant ideas to enter our 3 week long challenge.  Come check us out and join right in with your creation!
