Join in the Monday-Greeting Group Challenge at Outlawz! Creative Bug is Sponsoring us!

What a treat to be asked to be a Guest Designer over at Outlawz for the whole month!  The Monday-Greeting Group asked me to share in their posts and I was thrilled to do it.  This week's theme is Sporty (any sport applies) and they are being sponsored by Creative Bug. As you can see, this image is called Tabyna Turtle...So I had to expand on the RACE (that's Sporty, right?) between the Tortoise (turtle) and the Hare...  Isn't she a cutie?
I used some creative design paper from AdorniT that is double-sided.  I had this scrap that I was playing with and before you know it, I was turning it into an EASEL Card!
I colored the image with copics, computer generated the sentiment, added a pewter charm with baker's twine...another sentiment with foam dots raises the inside sentiment up so that it catches the bent front flap.  I added an embellishment that looks like an award ribbon with a metal accent and some colored wood flowers.  I was thinking that the inside paper with it's chevrons looks like movement and racing lanes on a track.  Well, you might be running kind-of funny!
I hope you will join in this weekly challenge and post your creation for all to see!  You'll get great exposure and a chance to win some prizes.  I look forward to seeing you next Monday, June 8th!

The Ant Family Watermelon is a picnic at 2 CuteInk!

Well...summer will soon be just around the corner and I can't help but think of a cold, juicy watermelon!  But it looks like the Ant Family from 2 CuteInk got there first~
This is my Thursday post where I get an additional chance to play with one of Heidi's great images from the 2 CuteInk store.  Using an A7 card sideways, I matted the circle cut and sentiment to *pop* it off the wonderful, 2-sided chevron paper from Adorn iT.  The inside of the card is the backside-isn't that fun?  The sentiment is from my stamped stash and could be used for many occasions.
Be sure to join in our Challenges here and you could win some great images!  I'm planning on sending this to a great friend -I bet you can find something that will make YOU smile too!

Whooooo....Whoooooo..want to Play with us at 2 CuteInk ATG Challenge?

I Love OWLS, my daughter loves OWLS and MY mother loved OWLS...so it stands to reason that I was thrilled to use Nature Owl Doodle for our next challenge "For the Birds" at 2 CuteInk!
And I was so lucky to find an owl..ish set of design papers at my LLS when I was shopping with my enabler crafty daughter!  I KNEW that I would use them sometime so I was all set for this challenge!
The papers are by ADORNit  and they are all double sided, one with sayings on it (see the inside of the card).  The deep red patterned paper on the front is the reverse of the gray dotted paper.  I picked up the colors in Owl Doodle digital-HAD to add buttons!  I HAVE to use them whenever I can-I have too many!  The inside used one of the sayings (complimentary colors I might add ) and is the back of the chevron style paper.  I love how the images that Heidi from 2 CuteInk designs are created so that you can be as elaborate or as simple as you want them to be.  Quick to color as I did here with Copics and so quick to mail to some lucky recipient.  Come join us in our challenge and show us your creation!  We'd love to meet you!

Lacy Sunshine is sponsoring us at Southern Girls Challenge-Theme is You Spin me ROUND

At Southern Girls Challenge we have challenges every three weeks.  This time AROUND, the theme is "You Spin me ROUND Baby" so it could be circle shapes, dots, buttons, die cuts...let you imagination go wild.  I'm using a Sponsored provided image from Lacy Sunshine called Emily-Spring Ladybugs which I adore!  I have so many circle shapes on my creation--polka-dot embossed paper, ladybug dots on her hair bow, even buttons across the bottom of the card.  I cut back the front edge a little so that I could place some paper lace from my stash.  I just love the way it always looks so feminine!  This lime green chevron paper looks so great inside with my stamped sentiment-it will make a great Birthday card for a friend!
