Horace & Boo from Polkadoodles are heading for the Garden

I'm visiting with my friends over at Polkadoodles again...this time with Horace & Boo with their Wheelbarrow found here. They're in the Garden and have a full load, complete with a mouse!

There is so much detail going on with this digital stamp that I almost got out the colored pencils.  But I used my trusty Copics -I had fun making the dog into a Dalmatian.   Using the In love with Autumn paper pack, I pictured them walking down to the vege garden, looking for the last of the yummy goodies of the season.  Just like we are doing at our house.

I used a scrap strip of yellow polka-dotted paper, stamped a friend sentiment on it and put a bronze ribbon slide on it and used it as a banner on the print.  I felt it was a great time to use my highly popular cloud stencil as a backdrop. I'm so in love with the fluffy look of this!  I then added some orange jute twine along with some wooden stars and popped the whole creation up on foam dots for some dimension.

On the finished inside, again using the Autumn papers, I kept it simple with a paper stripe in the corner and a simple friendship sentiment from my collection.

Thanks for looking at my Polkadoodles creation-Come visit us again soon!

Bugaboo Sponsors us over at Come and Get it Challenge-ADD A PUMPKIN

What with Halloween coming soon to everyone's neighborhood, this image from Bugaboo called Autumn Owl is GREAT to use!  The "recipe" was to Add A Pumpkin, which I did on the front left corner with a foam dot! So sparkly with that orange glitter!
I used some special design paper, hoping that the circles would remind you of fireflies?  Some of them are embossed with glitter.  I just love the Fall coloring that the fence inspires me to color, what with the owl, pumpkins, sunflowers, and multi-colored leaves.  I'm hoping that you can see the black wired branches behind the glittered pumpkin with the black balls on the ends-they were so interesting!  I often wander the bridal aisle at HL and look for crystals..balls that can be used on a card-very unique.  You should try it too!
On the inside I used the reverse side of the nighttime paper and stamped it with a special KKS clear acrylic stamp.  Sure is getting me in the spirit for Fall events!  Come on over and join or challenge-we'd love to see what you make!!

Always Anything Goes with Craft Your Passion

This week we are so thankful to be sponsored at Craft Your Passion by Imagine That! Digis by Kris!
This creative site has so many image sets to peak your interest-please check it out!  This challenge I'm using is called Bloom Where You Are Planted and it comes with both a black and white image and sentiments and pre-colored image and sentiments.  I chose to use a Thank you stamp from my stash but there were very cute ones included in with the set.  I love the look of the pastel plaids and found a great polka-dot to go with the colors.  I accented the card with enamel dots, fishtail strip and a loopy die cuts to show off the boots.
On the inside, I did a complimentary plaid with a blue label die cut for personalizing the card.
Please come on over to CYP and put your project into the challenge-we can't wait to see it!
