I used a blue glaze on her for the glasses, a wooden LOVE Embellie,
On the inside a simple but meaningful sentiment. This card will be going to a dear friend that will be leaving the office shortly. She will be missed !!!
This week over at Come and Get It Challenge, we are so happy to share images from Bugaboo! Our challenges are always ATG so you all can participate and share your creations! 
I always think of rain slickers being yellow and you'd wear red boots so that's how I colored it with Copics. I also used some glossy accents on the rain puddles on the umbrella and under his feet. They look so wet-it's great! I had the perfect paper for the card-these dancing umbrellas that even have a little glitter on some of their edges. Then on the reverse side of the paper was the phrase "rain rain go away..." which I used for the split front. Grosgrain ribbon was glued on the seam for an accent color. I used a metal shaped sentiment that a friend gave me in a swap and then I used some Bling Teardrops as raindrops.
This week at Crafting When We Can, we are using stamps from Star Stampz and the theme is to use your favorite medium in your creation. This image is called Spring Rain and she doesn't look too happy to be stuck out in the rain! 
The umbrella design paper in the background is embossed and has glitter

Besides the denim fishtail banners at the top, I used some gorgeous
crystal teardrops for raindrops. Placed them along the edge of the
umbrellas. I used a very compact sentiment perfect for a Rain Card by
KKS. For the liner on the inside, I used this great rain "verse"-Rain
Rain go away....design paper, then I used a white label diecut, stamped
with another sentiment from the KKS series and added an enamel dot for
some color! Crafting When We Can is a great Challenge that runs for 2 weeks and we would LOVE to see your creations!
There's currently a DT Call over at All Dressed Up and that's so exciting for several people!! There are actually 2 Teams: Blog Challenge DT (what I'm looking for) but also the Facebook DT! I'd wanted to share 3 cards that I previously made using an All Dressed Up Images: One image is called "I Love My Puppy" , "Mirror Mirror", and "Amore" is the last one. They have such adorable digis to choose from and if you need an image, several freebies to color up and join in! Can you tell I like using the images they have?

The twist is that we want you to use Washi Tape~ Now I know you are thinking that you aren't seeing that on my card? However, this denim tape was described by The Paper Studio as washi tape. I was just glad it went so well with the digital image I used called Rain.

I used some great paper from my stash that when you place it horizontally, it could be used for scenes with Pools BUT when placed vertically, what perfect paper for RAIN! I used a scrap from a digital image from Fred she Said that was depicting a sidewalk-so so lucky to have that. I've been really drawn to using these tear-drop crystals (from the wedding aisle in HL-by David Tutera) as rain drops-they are SO reflective!
We've heard through a little birdie that hopefully very soon Heidi will be including a sentiment with her images, probably randomly, but how exciting!! Then you will have a complete project with one purchase!
This was such a FUN card to do-a 6x6 card blank used from The Paper Cut, with this Perfect rain drop 2 sided paper. The dragon is SO cute and I loved doing her in Copic shades of pinks with a light blue wash over her. The other side of the paper has several different cloud patterns on it which I used with foam dots. What I got a kick out of was going back and using Aleene's Clear Gel Tacky Glue on all the raindrops, even across the border at the bottom (which is the tear away section of the paper). On the inside, I wanted to do a sunshine page with another paper from the set-aren't the rain boots and umbrellas adorable? With an up-beat sentiment, it's sure to get someone feeling better quickly!
