Hey Everybody!!!! We have a Monthly Challenge going on at All Dressed Up that will end on April 14th and there are several chances to win digital images .
It won't be long before it's VALENTINE'S DAY so I'm using this perfect ADU stamp "Be My Valentine" for the ADU's January Challenge.
Using Copics to color and shade the flowers and bird, I also Blinged the card up with lots of 
iridescent sequins. In order to accent the flower feature, I cut around the group, showing off the intense blue dotted paper inside. 
I crafted a pink heart to hide under the front cover and then used a stamp from my stash for the sentiment. 
This is a month long challenge and there are ADU images for the winners, so get creating and inspire us with your creations! We can't wait to see them before February the 14th!

The Image that I'm using for the new release is called Busy Street and there are so many variations of the same image being highlighted on the blog. I used copics creating different store fronts-like coloring your own town!
Wendy the resident artist at All Dressed Up has done it again with 4 new images ready for their new release! I got to play with "Prom Princess"-all dolled up with one of my favorite color combinations Lime and Purple! I used Ice Stickles for all the BLING on her outfit. Love how it really stands out on the images. Because she was tall and slender, I did a 3/4 cut on the card front-that way you get to see the designer paper behind the paper lace edging. I also used purple "goosebumps" faceted accents both in the front and inside.
On the inside, I finished it off with some very pretty floral paper and also a phrase that was printed on the edge of the purple polka-dot paper. Great way to have a color coordinated sentiment for your project to use this edging on the paper! Be sure to check out our blog Challenge that happens on the 15th of each month-it can be found here.

I've chosen to use the image 978 from Sherri Baldy's fantastic shop. I love Big Eyed images so this is the perfect shop for me! I had fun creating this Fairy like creature using some of my favorite color combinations-green and purple! I also used Diamond Stickles on her wings and added a few touches of bling with the purple flower embellishments. The sentiment is from a stamp from my stash by KKS. A very whimsical Summer- like card for that friend's Birthday!

Over at Come and Get It Challenge, we are celebrating Father's Day! Our Challenges are always ATG, but starting in July we will also have Themes!! How exciting~
This cute image is from Time For Tea Images and she's called World's Best Dad. I love how she's a little girl wearing her Daddy's Slippers and bringing him a gift and newspaper! Since I'd already colored her in a fav combo of brown and blue, I found several cute papers and even a blue gingham ribbon to set it off. In the bottom left corner I used a KKS sentiment stamp "You're So Special To Me" and added some beaded blingy blue flowers underneath it. I also added a silver double heart charm. On the inside, I stamped the perfect sentiment on her Dad's card. It's one from KKS also.

This horizontal beauty was such a fun, whimsical image and so quick to color and shade to put on a project--maybe that's because I knew exactly the paper I had on hand that would be perfect for her! As you can see I Love the combination of pink and black!! After coloring her. I edged the image in black, mounted the sentiment from my stash with a hot pink cardstock and added a black faceted flourish spray. On the inside liner, I wanted to see more of the b&w heart paper so that was the background. Using the P&B print as a mat, I used another stamped sentiment-this is so versatile in that it could be an Anniversary card, a Valentine's Day card, even a Birthday card.
This week at Crafting When We Can, we are using stamps from Star Stampz and the theme is to use your favorite medium in your creation. This image is called Spring Rain and she doesn't look too happy to be stuck out in the rain! 
The umbrella design paper in the background is embossed and has glitter
accents. I colored the image with Copics and love the "tude" she has!
Besides the denim fishtail banners at the top, I used some gorgeous
crystal teardrops for raindrops. Placed them along the edge of the
umbrellas. I used a very compact sentiment perfect for a Rain Card by
KKS. For the liner on the inside, I used this great rain "verse"-Rain
Rain go away....design paper, then I used a white label diecut, stamped
with another sentiment from the KKS series and added an enamel dot for
some color! Crafting When We Can is a great Challenge that runs for 2 weeks and we would LOVE to see your creations!
When I saw this adorable image called High Heels by Bugaboo, I knew that I had several "Divas" that would love to get cards such as the one I have today! The Wonderful Come and Get It Challenge (CAGI) has a challenge every week and this week's theme is "POLKA DOTS"-what fun!
As you can see, I love that theme! It's my first attempt at a "window card" so be easy on me!!

After coloring this cutie with Copics, I used Aged Rose Frantage embossing enamel from Stampendous around her, heated it up and ooo'd and awww'd! I mounted a deep pink polkadot embossed cardstock as a mat, added a blinged out Butterfly to her flower and gems to her vintage inspired design paper. I used a paper lace strip combined with a perky striped paper at the bottom-will have to use this again 'cause I just love it!!
Well, I fell head over heals in love with this image from Sami Stamps! This image is called "Bird on my Toes" and is one I used for the CWWC Challenge. It's so modern and fresh and really reminds me of my daughter and her love of Gardening and Animals.
I used Copics for the coloring-sorry for the photo fading the effect of the sky-it's full of fluffy white clouds! I used a strip of wide burlap ribbon with the edges frayed out to run behind the image. I distressed the edge of patterned paper with my Tim Holtz tool and added a stamped sentiment from KKS on the front as well as the inside. The field of grass looked a bit bare so I added sprigs of grass and "flower stems" around her and then added some flower Bling! I wanted to try something different this week with an image from Lacy Sunshine's monthly theme of "Arabian Nights", Bahie found here. Typically, you find these images depicting veils and sheer, filmy material swirling around right? Well, I created her with a twist, using a close up instead of the full body view that I did earlier this month AND you can see that my gold glitter was calling to me! I think it makes her look exotic!
I used a deep patterned paper and sheer ribbon and jewels to accent her beauty. Also used some stickles to accent her jewels and chains. On the inside you can see a better view of the design paper with a special note stamped on the double sided paper.
What a sassy image I have to work with this week at 2 CuteInk--she's called Chihuahua Doodle. I knew right away that I wanted to use this great dog print paper from the Paper Studio called Multi Colored Dog Paws. The brown Bazzil textured paper was perfect for a frame with pop dots . That way I could have her "popping" out of it for attention. Being the Diva that she is, I gave her a double row Bling collar and used some natural twill ribbon with paw prints on it as an accent. The front verse is from my computer and makes this card perfect for anniversaries, birthdays, thinking of you, friendship cards.

In support of the challenge, I chose one of Doodle Pantry's images called Birthday Birdie and got a little carried away! The background papers all come with the set also~I fancy cut the image, leaving a slit in the tail feathers to insert some fun green dyed feathers, FC the hat and icing and then pop-dotted them for dimension and BLINGED them up big time with seed beads. I use these also in shaker boxes for sure. I added a "bug-butterfly" metal charm/brad -was so happy that the color matched so well!
