Join us and Bugaboo Stamps at Come And Get It Challenge! The Theme is WINTER SPORTS!

It's time for our WINTER SPORTS theme over at the Come and Get It Challenge.  Think out of the Box:  Ice Skating, Snowman Building/Fights, Ice Carving, Sledding, Ice Hockey---your mind can think of so many things!  We'd love to see your creation AND it's being Sponsored by the well-known BUGABOO.  If you win, you can receive several of Burgaboo's digital stamps, your choice!
The image I picked today is called Winter Kidz with Puppy (they have an adorable group called KIDZ that I find myself drawn to often).  They are nice clean images with lots of room for shading and detail.  After coloring him up with Copics, I added some Chunky white embossing with Frantage, on the ground and for the snow flurry.  I also added a die cut of white pine boughs and mounted some white features behind the boughs-I think it gives the feel of snow drifting.  A wooden star finishes off the effect for the Season.  On the inside liner, I used some dp that picks up the purples, blues and grays and stamped it with a Christmas stamp from my stash.  Again, Come and join us this month and next at our Challenge!  We'd love to be inspired by YOU!

Bugaboo Stamps sponsors us over at Come and Get It where "flowers" is the Theme!

No automatic alt text available.Just looking at this image from Bugaboo Stamps puts a smile on my face!  She's called Kidz Flower Basket and the theme over at Come and Get It Challenge is "Flowers".  I've got a daughter all grown now with blonde hair that has always shared my love of flowers.  And as Daisies are her favorite flower, I colored this beauty like I remember her.  Love all the details on a Bugaboo Digital Image and the images are so clear-makes it easy to color.  Used a very Spring like paper and complimentary assorted flowers on the front panel. One the inside panel I always like to finish it off so used an oversized polka-dot print and a KKS sentiment which is always perfect!  Hope this puts a smile on YOUR face too!

Bugaboo sponsors Come and Get It for an ATG Challenge & Prizes!

This week over at Come and Get It Challenge, we are so happy to share images from Bugaboo!  Our challenges are always ATG so you all can participate and share your creations!
I always think of rain slickers being yellow and you'd wear red boots so that's how I colored it with Copics.  I also used some glossy accents on the rain puddles on the umbrella and under his feet.  They look so wet-it's great!  I had the perfect paper for the card-these dancing umbrellas that even have a little glitter on some of their edges.  Then on the reverse side of the paper was the phrase "rain rain go away..." which I used for the split front.  Grosgrain ribbon was glued on the seam for an accent color.  I used a metal shaped sentiment that a friend gave me in a swap and then I used some Bling Teardrops as raindrops.

Bugaboo sponsors Challenge at Come and Get It! Theme Circles-Always ATG!

I'm posting this a little late due to a back issue but am so excited to get my contribution posted to the Come and Get It Challenge site.  We have such wonderful sponsors and this image I used is called KidzDaisy from Bugaboo Stamps!  Our theme this week is to use CIRCLES.  I'm sure it's something you can find in your scrapbooking stash!
After coloring my image with copics, I mounted some black paper lace along one side.  In order to continue the black accent, I just used a strip of black cardstock and stamped a sentiment from KKS in white ink.  Now not only are there black dots on the red "ladybug" sections on the image but of course you see the black dots against the vivid green cardstock.  Was planning on using this for a Halloween card-but can see it's really versatile in other ways. Then to finish the card, I placed some black paper on the liner and stamped again a friendship verse in white ink.  There are so many uses for this card!  Come show us your creation and join us over at Come and Get It!

Bugaboo Stamps is sponsoring us at Come and Get It Challenge

This Challenge at Come and Get It is sponsored by Bugaboo and if you know their images, they are always good for a chuckle!  This digital is called Girlz Coffee and I like how modern and relative she is!
I tried a new technique for me that is, and that was masking off the area of the cup so that I could sponge on the distress ink.  I've seen this pattern on several cups-even tho' I don't drink coffee.  It was a learning curve but I'm pretty happy with it!  I'm sure my boo-boo is evident where the green encroached on the wrapper but I hope I hid it somewhat!
I have a tree bark paper as a mat with green buttons as an accent.  I found this sentiment and did some fancy cutting around the swirly steam-mounted some pop dots behind it and curved the front of the piece with my finger-tucked some fall leaves under the curve for some color.  Think you could just wrap your hands around the card! and feel the warmth!
On the inside of the card I used some paper that reminds me of a bag of Colombian Coffee and a great sentiment for the theme of the card-remember Humorous.
Come and join us with your creation!  Winner could win 7 digital images from Bugaboo!  Can't wait to see yours!

Come and Get It Challenge-POLKA DOTS is the Theme! Bugaboo is our sponsor!

When I saw this adorable image called High Heels by Bugaboo, I knew that I had several "Divas" that would love to get cards such as the one I have today!  The Wonderful Come and Get It Challenge (CAGI) has a challenge every week and this week's theme is "POLKA DOTS"-what fun!
As you can see, I love that theme!  It's my first attempt at a "window card" so be easy on me!!
I never want to hide the great images inside the cards so had to figure out how to show it through the front.  Even the raspberry frame is raised with dots!  I colored it with copics and used a silver metallic pen for the clasp and the shimmer on the pearls.  That's a felt button flower on top of the big bow and I put a pink bling flower in the center of that bow and accented on the image!
Now it's your turn to show us your creations!  We'd love to see them so come our and play!!

It's Anything Goes at Craft Your Passion with Bugaboo Stamps as the sponsor!

This week for Craft Your Passion's ATG's Challenge, we get to use a Bugaboo Stamp choice.  I was so thrilled to find out that Bugaboo actually has some silhouette digital "stamps" in both a jpg. format and a pnc format, which allows a person to "place" the image over another digital page.  The one I'm using is Halloween based and is A.m.a.z.i.n.g!!!  It's actually called hweensilhouettescene.  I had recently received a digital set from another company with this awesome green flecked paper and sentiments.  As you can see, I layered the silhouette over the green-the whole stamps has the house, the bats, owls, tree, fence, spiders....and it's size adjustable of course.  The inside of my card has a matted sentiment with a glitter bat embellishment.  At Craft Your Passion, we love that there are not constraints as to images or themes and we welcome you to join in the fun and let us see your creations!  The prize for the challenge is 7 images of your choice from Bugaboo-what fun!
