Starting to see some Fall Halloween images over at Polkadoodles!

Pretty soon our thoughts will be turning to Fall and Halloween!  Polkadoodles Stamp Company has so many Images that will fill your needs in their shop so please check them out!
This image is called Amelia Witch- Toad and can be found here.  She's got a jar of wet, slimy eyeballs in her jar, like she's going to be casting a spell on that Toad by her foot!  I colored her with Copics, used a digital Halloween paper in the background along with a full Moon over her shoulder.  Adding some dyed Schiff rayon bias tape in wine color, I wrapped it around the bottom of the card, tied a cluster bow and glued some black glossy beads to it's center.  The inside is finished as always with a complimentary paper-this one I left blank, no sentiment, in case I need it for a Birthday, Thank you, or Happy Halloween!
Maybe if we think about the Fall Season it will get cooler!  It sure has been hot here in the Midwest!  Thanks for stopping by!
You can see the step-by-step process I used to get to this end result of Amelia on the Polkadoodles Crafting Post here: https://polkadoodlescraft.blogspot.com/2020/08/create-spooky-project-and-get-organised.html?mc_cid=7819814218&mc_eid=5606d4026c  .   Hope you enjoy!

It's Fun Halloween using Sherri Baldy's Image 620- Bahahahahaha

Hello Besties!
Sharing with you a cutie Halloween card using Img 620.
I used some Batty paper on top of the black card blank, angled
some orange polkadot paper--accented that with a silver spider
web dangling from the corner.  The image is colored with
Copics, using Diamond Dust Stickles in the Moon Craters, and
on the stars and dots on her outfit!
I enjoy using Sherri's images for Halloween because I don't
go in for the reallllll spooky characters you see around-
These are fun ones!
Hope you like and visit again!

This week at Come and Get It October Challenge, We are celebrating our THEME-Too Cute to Spook!!!  EEEK be watching for those FUN scary cards/projects coming your way.  Our Sponsor is Paper Nest Dolls and boy does Christine have some great Digital Halloween images **That's right you heard me!  Not only does she have those wonderful rubber stamps but ALSO great digital images as well.  I just love the versatility of those!**
This one is called Witch Ellie riding broom and she was a dream to color up!  Copics were my coloring choice and I added some random roof tops underneath her-they aren't part of this image.  I matted her with this Amazing thick, wrinkly, neon green paper that has sparkle to it.  I got it at HL in black, green and purple-awesome for this time of year. Added some accent buttons and then used a design paper that had green bats flying around.
On the inside, I used the reverse side of the bat paper and then stamped it with a great Halloween sentiment from KKS.
Come on over and play with us at Come and Get It Challenge!  We'd love to see your inspiring creations!!

HALLOWEEN/Anything Goes at Color It Create It Show It Off--Come Join our Challenge!

And the Spooky Fun begins with our October 1st Challenge over at Color It Create It Show It Off--You can use whatever image you'd like and any medium that peaks your fancy -we have started using "themes" every month and this month it's HALLOWEEN!
I had such fun using one of Sherri Baldy's Fun Halloween images which is Lil Rascals Img 533 --Love the Lil Rascals cute facial expressions!!  I colored her in a combination of prismacolor pencils and copics.  I'm just getting used to the pencils and they are fantastic to use-hopefully I will soon do a complete image with them when I get brave enough!  I double matted the image and used sheer black ribbon for an accent.  Then I found this dimensional Halloween banner "Haunted" and attached it with brads and adhesive.  I will be so excited to send this to a long lost friend!

On the inside I used some batty background design paper, a great sentiment stamp from KKS and an accent of a felt pumpkin.
We hope that we see your creations for our challenge--it's well worth the effort to have a chance to win Sherri's images--If you use the Theme of the Challenge, here are the images that you could choose from if you are the winner:

My Besties UK Challenge for October 1st has a Theme of Halloween! Wooooooo Will join us??

When I think of Halloween, the colors of purple, green, and orange come to mind!  This week at the My Besties UK Challenge site it's Anything Goes with a theme of Halloween!  I'm sure we will see some BOO-tiful creations!  I'm using the image Daisy "img104" from Sherri Baldy's Store here, and it's a versatile one in that you could really use her for a whole host of seasons.  When I saw her, I instantly thought of black hat and pants, wild purple hair, and orange flowers.
Well I have yet to figure out my problem with the inability to pick up the rich purples on my card by my camera-imagine that all the blues you are seeing are really purple!  I put orange dots on her pants and then put Stickles on top of those.  The image is triple matted with a black glitter cardstock and orange on the back layer.  The card is wrapped with baker's twine with some embellishments of a felt pumpkin and black scary cat.  I am lovin' the multi-colored chevron paper!
On the inside liner, I had some great spooky house paper  that was a recent purchase-so cool!  I used a sentiment from KKS that was matted in orange and purple and this great button that has a black cat in it!  I know several deserving friends that I could send this too--woooooooo will it be?  This Challenge at My Besties UK lasts all month and we'd love to see your creations--Spooky or Fun we love it all and can't wait to see all of you there!
I'd like to enter this in Challenges:

It's a SPOOKY Halloween theme at One Sweet Challenge with Sweet Pea Stamps!

It's time again for some fun , kind-of Spooky Halloween cards at One Sweet Challenge by Sweet Pea Stamps!  I chose Vampire with Cat by Molly Harrison.  She's one of the many talented artists that share their talents at Sweet Pea Stamps.  This month's theme is either Halloween or a creation with Purple/Green/Orange or Black on it.
The back mat is an amazing black glitter paper in black by The Paper Studio. (You can see an orange backdrop glitter page in the background of my picture.)  I have this great cobweb design paper and some embellies that are theme appropriate!  The star of the show is this wonderful image.  I'm having fun experimenting with colored hair and find I'm loving it!  Just step out of your comfort zone and try it!  I put a purple patterned paper behind her to mat the image. Had a little fun on the inside with some quirky skeleton heads and a great stamp along with a cardstock sticker.  I hope you will come and join us at our challenge-we'd love to see the creations you come up with!

Create a Scene with Lacy Sunshine-The Beasties are coming out to play!

Lurking in the spooky mind of Heather Valentin, the creator and artist at Lacy Sunshine, comes 2 creatures for Halloween-her favorite time of the year.  Shown here on my "Create a Scene" project are Phantom Beastie and Wilbur Werewolf Beastie.
As you can see, I chose to make an easel card-laying flat, it just shows just the Phantom with his red mat, cobwebs on a spider web paper.  But when you bend him, up springs Wilbur Beastie, who's attached to a folded tab, making his grand entrance.  On the Phantom's eyes, I put diamond glaze to make them look watery but when I took the picture, the reflection made it look like he had white dots everywhere.  So on the inside, I again used the cobweb paper with cheesecloth to look like webbing but I added some moss so that it would look like the ground in a cemetery-just simply glued on with some thick product.  Hope you like these spooky creatures-beware of them especially on All Hallows Eve when they might come out and play!

Bubbles Halloween from Lacy Sunshine Stamps and is Adorable for the Fall!

I'm so thrilled to use the Bubbles Halloween image from the Lacy Sunshine store on my card this week-She's so adorable as are all the other Spooky or cute images found there!  I especially like her "googily eyes" that are bobbing on her head!  I just love how she's coming up from inside the pumpkin.
I've had this gorgeous wide grosgrain ribbon in orange and black that I keep especially for Halloween time, added some cardstock pieces and die cuts to finish the card.  On the inside, I've used this eerie lt. blue paper with some images of spiders on it, a sentiment from my stash and some more cardstock embellishments.  Thanks for looking!  Take a run through the Store for your every needs!

2 Cute Ink Freebie from their Newsletter-Too Cute to Spook!

I'm using an image called Pumpkin Cookie that I got as a Freebie by "subscribing" to the 2 Cute Ink Newsletter.  Heidi has a new image each month for you to play with and I course she wants to see all your creations!  I put this cutie on a square card base with some crazy bat paper from my stash, matted the image, added a sheer ribbon and spooky tree die cut.  If you look close at the ground around the pumpkin, you'll see that I scattered some Spice Frantage, heated it from underneath with my heat gun and then finished off the top with heat for some shine!  Inside the card is some great spider web paper from Graphic 45 along with a cardstock sticker.
Be watching the 2 Cute Ink for the upcoming Challenge on September 14th and ever two weeks from then on.  Come join us and let us see your creations!  Meanwhile, sign up for the newsletter so you can get the next freebie!

One Sweet Challenge is featuring Halloween or a Color Challenge!

It's that spooky time of the year  what with Halloween coming next month and at One Sweet Challenge, we were asked to use Halloween images or use the colors Purple/green/orange/and-or black in our creations.  I think I managed all of this with the card I made from the digital image  Witch and Cat by Molly Harrison.  I think that the color might be off just a little, but the green was so intense that, no matter what I did to it, they all looked the same.  So, My apologies.  There are so many wonderful images in the Sweet Pea Store by several artists-you just really need to go see all your choices!  As you can see I used black and green neon bats, a wonderful roughly textured handmade green paper, and accents of green sheer ribbon, glitter bats and black pearl studs. More of the handmade paper inside the card , black sheer ribbon and a great Halloween rubber stamp.
Come over and play with us at One Sweet Challenge with Sweet Pea Stamps-we'd love to see your creations!

It's Anything Goes at Craft Your Passion with Bugaboo Stamps as the sponsor!

This week for Craft Your Passion's ATG's Challenge, we get to use a Bugaboo Stamp choice.  I was so thrilled to find out that Bugaboo actually has some silhouette digital "stamps" in both a jpg. format and a pnc format, which allows a person to "place" the image over another digital page.  The one I'm using is Halloween based and is A.m.a.z.i.n.g!!!  It's actually called hweensilhouettescene.  I had recently received a digital set from another company with this awesome green flecked paper and sentiments.  As you can see, I layered the silhouette over the green-the whole stamps has the house, the bats, owls, tree, fence, spiders....and it's size adjustable of course.  The inside of my card has a matted sentiment with a glitter bat embellishment.  At Craft Your Passion, we love that there are not constraints as to images or themes and we welcome you to join in the fun and let us see your creations!  The prize for the challenge is 7 images of your choice from Bugaboo-what fun!

It's Challenge Time at Doodle Pantry for November!!

I know that my card this time is a day behind the Holiday but I just wanted to share this design.  I'm using some images from the Doodle Pantry newly released set(s) called Circle Something 1 & 2.  There are so many elements to use that I couldn't just use 1 set!
I just love this small print background paper along with the 3 different printed trees and pumpkins.  The white one is from another one of Laurie's Fall sets.  Isn't the BAT Adorable??!!  I have many of the shapes elevated with foam dots for that dimensional look.  I also finished the inside with a sentiment from the series and think it's just the perfect saying!
Be sure to get your entry in for a chance to win-you've got the whole month to work on it!  There's even a free set of images called "Fancy Pie" with a purchase from the store.  Thanks for looking!

Little Red Riding Hood is FRAMED at Squigglefly!

All is right in the world finally this week...we have returned from the 10 day Covered Bridge Festival that occurs every October, we've gotten back into our routine of going to work (moving a little slower however with our muscle aches and soreness), and ***getting back to doing the things that we love--for me, it's getting back to making cards and coloring images.  At Squigglefly, we are having our weekly challenge-Use a Frame on your creation.
What with Trick or Treat coming up shortly, I pulled out an image called Little Red by Fawn Palmer 'cause I could see some child dressing up like Little Red Riding Hood for Halloween!  I used some digital paper and embellies from Doodle Pantry's shop: the leaves,"ribbons", background paper, and pumpkins.  I fancy cut Red and wanted to accent her cutie face so that's where I set the Frame we were to use.  Come join us and perhaps you could win an image!I apologize for the "off" color on the frame photo-it truly does match the green on the card!

Pumpkin Image or Color on Squigglefly's Latest Challenge

It's that spooky time of the year and Halloween is right around the corner.  Our challenge this week at Squigglefly was to use a pumpkin on your entry (hey, maybe even a pumpkin PIE would count!) OR the pumpkin orange color.  As the "Blood Moon" just made an appearance this morning around here, I chose to make a huge orange moon for my card.  It highlights perfectly the great house image called Haunted House by Carmen Gamble, one of Squiggleflys great artists!  I used a very neat die cut that was furnished by one of my scrapbook friends-I got white, brown and black!  I figure that should just about cover all the seasons!  This blue accent color paper is from The Paper Company called Ecorce, made in France.  It has hard, raised creases that ripple across the paper and I got it in several colors-I'm just fascinated by it!  Maybe you can find this 8.5 x 11 paper in your local HL like I did!
The inside is matted with the same orange paper with the saying "From our House to yours~Happy Halloween" .

Frankie wants his Cupcake for a Squigglefly Halloween Treat!

It's almost time for all the spooks and goblins to come out to play for Halloween!  At Squigglefly, Frankie-the adorable image from Cheryl Alger, is going after a yummy cupcake for his treat!  I popped him up on foam dots for dimension, colored with copics.  The cupcake was cut out with an Impression Obsession die cut using Swiss Dot gold card stock from Bazzill.  The icing is from card stock called Ice Gold from The Paper Cut.  It's an iridescent shimmery gold color.  This pre-scored card blank is from The Paper Cut Company and is called the Cupcake Swinging Z-fold card blank  in the new color, Orange Fizz.  Just in time for Fall or Halloween!  I used a Bronze glitter from Martha Stewart.  I used a Batty paper from The Paper Studio matted in black on the inside.  In the die cut set from IO, there's an outline die of the whole cupcake so I like to use those as a small insert where I can stamp a picture or journal a verse, which is what I did with the pumpkin stamp.  The inside of the card makes a great place to use my larger Happy Birthday stamp with lots of room to write a greeting.
Be sure and check out Squigglefly's Latest Challenge where they want your Halloween cards!  If you use a SF image, you could win another one for your growing library.  They have so many new artists coming on board, there's tons of designs to choose from.  We'd love for you to join us!

It's a spooky month at Seems a Little Sketchy using Crafty Sentiments Designs!

This time I colored up a cute image for our latest challenge at SALS (Seems a Little Sketchy) --She's called Anabelle and she's from Crafty Sentiments Designs!
I probably should have make the image a little smaller but she's so intricate that I didn't want to miss any of the details!  Lots of Design papers with the Halloween flare make this so much fun!  I used Black Stickles on her bows and had fun putting purple stickle polka dots on her black boots~ Check out Crafty Sentiments for some adorable images-they are so much fun!
