It's a Monsters Birthday Party--at Color It Create It Show it Off

 It's a Monster Party over at Color It Create It Show It Off and I just love this quirky image 006 from Sherri Baldy.  It can be found in her shop here.  There's quite a variety of them and we know you'll find just the right one for some Fun! Our theme is Monster Birthday and I went in a different direction from the birthday balloons.  I shadowed the dots on her face so it make them look raised up-Then threw on some Stickles as an accent.  Also put some purple Stickles on her toenails and green on her antennas and epoxy dots randomly spread.  I lucked out that the design paper that I used also had the phrase already printed out so of course I used it.  On the inside , I matched some pink papers up from my Stash and used a KKS stamp.

I've enjoyed every minute of my time on this great DT team and it is with a heavy heart that I  have decided to go and try other things in Blogland.  This will be my last post for CICISIO and I wish all the friends and "second" family all the Best!!  They've been gracious enough to leave the door open for me if I want to come back in the future-that means a lot to me.  So look for me on FB - I'm sure that I'll be around!  Thanks for the memories!

REmember there's a Challenge over at Color It Create It Show It Off! ATG

Hurray!!  I think Spring is on it's way and over at Color It Create It Show It Off, we are celebrating with many of Sherri Baldy's creations!  She is busy filling up the Shop's shelves with all types of flowers, bunny, and Springtime creations.
This is a reminder that CICISIO has a Challenge here that hopefully will inspire you to add your image to the group and hopefully you will be the lucky winner of a Sherri Baldy image!

On my card today, I'm using Violet Valentine and she can be found in the store here.  I love these digital images-they're so eclectic and quirky that they are a joy to color!  I used fun Spring colors, lace, and dimensional, glossy covered hearts to make this creation.  On the inside, a bright pink stripe with another heart-great card for a friendship exchange-many ways to go with that stamped saying!

It's a theme of Love/Valentines over at Color It Create It Show It Off!

 February sure is the time for our thoughts of Love and that's true with The Besties in Sherri Baldy's Store! For the monthly challenge over at Color It Create It Show It Off, I'm using the Image  Talula Twinkle Toes and she can be found HERE.  Pinks are my favorite "go to" colors and I loved dolling her all up with them.  I also added some raspberry sequins around the background, some black paper lace and a dimensional glazed heart embellishment.
It's a great time to send your sweetheart a card to let them know you care about them-And at the same time you can join us for our Challenge!  We'd love to see what you've created!

Reminder of ATG Challenge, Theme Winter Wonderland at Color It Create It Show It Off

 What a great way to use this wonderful image from Sherri Baldy, Img 094, than as a reminder that there is still a challenge going on over at Color It Create It Show It Off!  I had so much fun coloring her up in winter colors--even using some rustic Ski Lodge papers for the background papers and  used crystal Stickles for Ice frost on the pine needles.  Thought shades of blue, lavender sure made ME think of snow.  In Illinois, I think we've been living in the Arctic for weeks now!  AND there's plenty of colds and flu going around here--that's why I decided to make this into a Get Well Card.  We'd love to see your creations in our Challenge-plenty of time to get your creation in.  We can't wait to see them!

Winter Wonderland - Anything Goes over at Color It Create It Show It Off!

This is a great way to start off the New Year with a wonderful My Bestie image and a super monthly Challenge over at Color It Create It Show It Off!
This is Img 180 and she can be found here.  There are so many Winter/Seasonal images that Sherri Baldy has in her store!  Just perfect for the theme over at CICISIO--Winter Wonderland-Anything Goes!
I love the Skiing aspect of this image!  It's unique-I love the combination of purples and soft greens.  I added some diamond stickles on her fur "ruff" around the boots for some bling effect!  I used silver metallic on her poles and White Chunky Frantage for the snowy effect in the background.  I think the wooden snowflake is an adorable finish.  On the inside,I finished it with some triangles of design paper and a rubber stamp from my stash.  It's got multi-purposes for the giver of the creation!  Come join our Challenge--we'll ALL get inspired!

With this little cutie, I'd like to remind you that right now there is a Challenge going on over at Color It Create It Show It Off.
 We welcome you to use whatever medium you wish and whatever image you wish. We the design team create with our sponsors image My Besties, but you are welcome to use anything. Our new Challenge for this month is Christmas/Anything Goes.
I'm using Mr. Snow man Scan 0046    and I love all the little details on him!  To bring out the red accents on him, I matted it with a Christmas stripe and then used as a background a shiny paper that looks like some of the white has been scratched off down to the shiny silver-I love it!  I added some white flower soft for the snow drifts on the bottom.  The different accent on the card is some light blue jewels that are hanging like melting snow, like on the pot handle, glove...can you spy the other places?  Well, you've got lots of time to show us your creations at our challenge-we can't wait to see them!

This is my reminder for you to to come join our Challenge over at Color It Create It Show It Off!  I'm using Lil Rascals: Lil Rosie Fall Days, Image 670 from Sherri Baldy.  Such a great chance to use all the Fall colors that I love.  Besides triple matting her in a sparkly burgundy and coffee brown cardstock, I love using this burlap paper and the brown wildflowers paper.  Accented the corner with 2 faceted burgundy Gemstones.  On the inside I sued the patterned paper again, and a sentiment for a Birthday card.  2 more smaller faceted stones for some bling and we're all set.

It's an ATG Challenge over at Color It Create It Show It Off---theme is "Thanks, Thankful

This is the perfect month for our "theme" over at Color It Create It Show It Off--"Thanks, Thankful".  There's so many opportunities to enter a Thank You card or project OR one that shows how thankful you are on this Thanksgiving, into our Blog Challenge.
I'm using the beautiful image by Sherri Baldy called Little White Dove and Running Bear and she can be found here, in Sherri's store.
After Coloring her up with my Copics, I used some dark metal brads to mount her, added a silk Fall leaf and placed a sentiment perfect for Thanksgiving.  I tried to give her a back to Nature feel with the leaf paper.
On the inside of the card, I used a tree like paper and a Thanksgiving Day Sentiment.  This will be going to a family member for that special Day.

REMINDER of a Color It Create It Show It Off CHALLENGE! It's time for FALL

I always like this time of year when I can bring out my Black Sparkly cardstock to use as a background when I take my October images! It makes them so special!
This special card is to REMIND each and every one of you that we have a Challenge going on over at Color It Create It Show It Off and you still have time to join us!  There are some adorable Sherri Baldy images to choose from if you're a winner! 
I chose to use  Scan0011 (or as I call her Fall Girl hehe) and I really went full out FALL COLORS on this one!!  The real reason there's so many patterns on the card...is that I liked ALL of them and couldn't make up my mind!  The one with the leaves has shiny embossed sections on it-swoon!  Love adding buttons (THAT comes from my Mom), I accented the bottom edge with mini yellow pompom fringe to give different texture and topped it off with a tag stamped with a KKS stamp and orange epoxy dot.  I always finish the inside of the cards I make and this time used a kraft and pumpkin paper with yet another KKS stamp and dots.

HALLOWEEN/Anything Goes at Color It Create It Show It Off--Come Join our Challenge!

And the Spooky Fun begins with our October 1st Challenge over at Color It Create It Show It Off--You can use whatever image you'd like and any medium that peaks your fancy -we have started using "themes" every month and this month it's HALLOWEEN!
I had such fun using one of Sherri Baldy's Fun Halloween images which is Lil Rascals Img 533 --Love the Lil Rascals cute facial expressions!!  I colored her in a combination of prismacolor pencils and copics.  I'm just getting used to the pencils and they are fantastic to use-hopefully I will soon do a complete image with them when I get brave enough!  I double matted the image and used sheer black ribbon for an accent.  Then I found this dimensional Halloween banner "Haunted" and attached it with brads and adhesive.  I will be so excited to send this to a long lost friend!

On the inside I used some batty background design paper, a great sentiment stamp from KKS and an accent of a felt pumpkin.

I created another card for Color It Create It Show It Off  as a REMINDER of the great Challenge we currently have going on!  Doesn't this cutie sitting on a Strawberry Jam jar make you hungry for that sweet treat?  Yummy!  She's Img671 from Sherri Baldy's shop.  Trying to keep everything rosy and pinkish-red I used 2 different design papers and then some Petal Lu flowers.
I just love this KKS Sweetness stamp I used for the inside sentiment!

Recipe cards make us Hungry over at Color It Create It Show It Off with Sherri Baldy's Images!

 The Theme this week over at Color It Create It Show It Off is a recipe card.  Instead of a scrapbook Recipe Challenge where you pick 1 item from each column of a table to make your card with, it's an actual recipe card!
Mine is a favorite recipe of my Mom's-Olive Cheese Snacks.  I'm telling you I could make myself **sick** on these, they are so good!  Since one of my favorite color combo's is purple and green, I found some design paper that reminded me of the shape of an olive, used a kraft die cut and some green pearl accents.  I used img 051 from Sherri Baldy's shop-just perfect little chef  for my card.  On the inside, I used the gorgeous purple polka-dot and a friendship stamp--this could even be given as a gift along with the finished yummy snack!  Well share one of your delicious treats with us and play along with our challenge!  It doesn't take too much for us to create a snack while we are creating cards!

ATG w/ Added Theme By The Sea - Color It Create It Show It Off Challenge

This is my DT card for Color It Create It Show it Off ~~Reminder Post~~  We want to "remind" all of you to get your entries/projects entered into the CICISIO Challenge.    It's been going on since the First of the month with the theme ATG / By The Sea and Nautical items are everywhere!
My image is called Sailor Boy and can be found here.  There are so many clever ideas - you must check them out!  I had this awesome "wave-like" paper and even fancy cut out a section to let the cardstock fish pop up from the waves!  I let the sisal rope peak out of the top corner and then trimmed the edges with some cut outs of a rope design paper!  The sentiment is from KKS and makes a great masculine Happy Birthday Card!  Now be sure and get your entries turned in over at the Challenge-you've got a couple of weeks left and a great chance to win some images from Sherri Baldy!

 Over at the Color It Create It Show It Off Challenge this month, we are using the Theme By The Sea!  Perfect for the season what with everyone heading to the Beach or Pool to beat the Heat~I'm using img 086 and she can be found here in Sherri Baldy's Shop.
I LOVE this throw-back to sort of a vintage style bathing suit!  I always color on the heavy side with copics so I wanted to challenge myself to keep it light and airy.  I think I achieved that with the baby blues and taupes- splash of melon in there also.
The best feature on this card is the medium I used for the splashing waves and foam--Frantage with blue & silver glitter and white chunky bits.  It did amazing on getting the ocean action!  First time I'd tried the sand dunes so expanding my horizons!  Tied some khaki Bakers Twine around the matted image and attached a silver sunglasses charm.  On the inside panel, I used some floating bubble paper and a great Sentiment stamp from KKS!  Be sure and enter a card or project yourself into our monthly challenge--great chance to receive a choice of images from Sherri!

Reminder Challenge over at Color It Create It Show It Off! Diva Birthday is the Theme!

I must say this is one of the Sherri Baldy's images (Scan 0001) that I love more and more!  It was a breeze to color-I'm sure because I just love it so much! A real modern look that could be used for so many occasions~  Over at Color It Create It Show It Off, we are head over heels reminding everyone that there is still a CICISIO Challenge going on here . It's a great chance to win a choice of these images and share your creative projects!  It's theme this month is Diva Birthday -Anything Goes.I colored this Beauty with Copics and used some great design papers: clouds, geometric patterns, Road map paper and matted her with a complimentary red.  For accents, I made 2 fishtail banners and a twine bow with red heart button.  On the inside I showcased the cloud paper in the background and stamped a KKS sentiment on it.

DIVA Birthday Challenge at Color It Create It Show It Off-**2** ways to win now!

Welcome back everyone. This month things at Color it Create it Show it off are changing slightly.
 We are now going to have themes with our challenges, if you enter with the theme you will have extra chance to win.

 I've chosen to use the image 978 from Sherri Baldy's fantastic shop.  I love Big Eyed images so this is the perfect shop for me!  I had fun creating this Fairy like creature using some of my favorite color combinations-green and purple!  I also used Diamond Stickles on her wings and added a few touches of bling with the purple flower embellishments.  The sentiment is from a stamp from my stash by KKS. A very whimsical Summer- like card for that friend's Birthday!
