Join us and Bugaboo Stamps at Come And Get It Challenge! The Theme is WINTER SPORTS!

It's time for our WINTER SPORTS theme over at the Come and Get It Challenge.  Think out of the Box:  Ice Skating, Snowman Building/Fights, Ice Carving, Sledding, Ice Hockey---your mind can think of so many things!  We'd love to see your creation AND it's being Sponsored by the well-known BUGABOO.  If you win, you can receive several of Burgaboo's digital stamps, your choice!
The image I picked today is called Winter Kidz with Puppy (they have an adorable group called KIDZ that I find myself drawn to often).  They are nice clean images with lots of room for shading and detail.  After coloring him up with Copics, I added some Chunky white embossing with Frantage, on the ground and for the snow flurry.  I also added a die cut of white pine boughs and mounted some white features behind the boughs-I think it gives the feel of snow drifting.  A wooden star finishes off the effect for the Season.  On the inside liner, I used some dp that picks up the purples, blues and grays and stamped it with a Christmas stamp from my stash.  Again, Come and join us this month and next at our Challenge!  We'd love to be inspired by YOU!

March Releases are now Ready at Sasayaki Glitter! Check them out!

It's time for the new March Releases at Sasayaki Glitter so I'd like to present "Yours Only".  Isn't he adorable standing there with his bouquet  for his Friend?!
I colored him with Copics, put a lime green dp behind to mat him and then found this neat circle paper with a dark brown background to use as the accent paper.  I remembered some large circle eyelets, so picked some appropriate ones and mounted them through the front panel.  Printed out a sentiment and attached an enamel dot.  On the liner in the inside, I used scraps to fill the page and then did another sentiment stamp.  This could be used for so many occasions-So Cute!

Masculine card at Sasakari Glitter-a freebie for all!

This is an adorable image from Sasakari Glitter called Lonely Boy-and it's a freebie on her site this whole month.  I need to do more masculine cards-I love using boyish embellies!
This is on a 4x4 card blank, using tones of blues, greens and browns and metal silver star stickers, and a silver metal swirl that I curled around the edge of the card.  Found some really neat denim washi tape and matching denim ribbon at my LSS so tied some on the swirl.  As this is a Happy Birthday card, on the inside I lined it and then used assorted chipboard glazed letters/numbers that are SO boy-like.  Hope you will visit Naz's site and visit her Etsy store-some cute images there!
I'd like to enter this Birthday card at:

INKY Impressions- Having a BOY THEME Challenge at Southern Girls Challenge!

Visit the Inky Impressions StoreHave you ever needed a "Thank-You" card for your child's Teacher?  Something that they went above and beyond about, for giving your child a needed word of encouragement, for something that your child finally understood because of their patience???  Well, that is what I based by card on this week using Teacher's Pet-Christopher from Inky Impressions.  They are a new sponsor for us at Southern Girls Challenge and I just love their digital images!  I found some great "School Themed" paper, used a mat made with a gorgeous shimmery cardstock called "Fairway" from The Paper Cut as well as their Manila File in Gold-Both Winners!  Added a strip of grosgrain ribbon with 2 metal button accents-just reeks boyhood.  Inside I used a ruled school paper cardstock with additional cardstock accents.  Come and join us for this 2 week challenge at SGC--It's BOY THEME!  Can't wait to see what you come up with!

What's the BUZZZZZZZ>>>>> around Seems a Little Sketchy this week??

For this 2-week challenge at Seems a Little Sketchy, we're being sponsored by Imagine That! with some great images and background papers.  The sketch we all based our cards on is shown here and for the winner of the challenge, Imagine That! is offering 3 digital images for you~
I was able to digitally layer the background papers to fit the sketch and then fancy cut the "Bee Boy" and mounted him with pop dots--hadn't made a 5x7 card for quite a while but you about needed to in order to squeeze all the neat items into the card!  There's Stickles on the Bee Wings and the Hive.  In the inside, again digital layering except for the bee ribbon that I've been dying to use!  Hope you will check us out and get an entry together so that you have a chance of winning!  We'll see you there!
