It's a new Year and a New Challenge at All Dressed Up! ATG with ADU

Happy New Year to all our followers and welcome back to a brand new challenge
Thank you for all the fabulous entries last month and we are very happy to have so many! The winners and Top Three will be announced on the 29th as chosen by our DT.
As always the theme for our Blog Challenge is -
Anything Goes
but you must use a All Dressed Up Image.
I'm using the image called Happiness and think that it would be a great image for Anything doing with LOVE!  I used some light pastels and antique backing coloring to accent it along with some romantic papers.  The faceted gems on the side of the image are actually a deep peony but the light didn't pick that up. On the inside, I repeated the beautiful rose paper and a great sentiment from KKS.
We are all glad to be back from a nice vacation with our families and can't wait to show you all the beautiful Wendy Burns images that are coming in 2018!  What a great year it will be!  Join us on the ride for this challenge -we can't wait to see your creations!

Reminder of ATG Challenge, Theme Winter Wonderland at Color It Create It Show It Off

What a great way to use this wonderful image from Sherri Baldy, Img 094, than as a reminder that there is still a challenge going on over at Color It Create It Show It Off!  I had so much fun coloring her up in winter colors--even using some rustic Ski Lodge papers for the background papers and  used crystal Stickles for Ice frost on the pine needles.  Thought shades of blue, lavender sure made ME think of snow.  In Illinois, I think we've been living in the Arctic for weeks now!  AND there's plenty of colds and flu going around here--that's why I decided to make this into a Get Well Card.  We'd love to see your creations in our Challenge-plenty of time to get your creation in.  We can't wait to see them!

Paper Nest Dolls Challenge--I'm using Avery with a Snowman

It's that time again to showcase an image from Paper Nest Dolls that's perfect for this Terrible Winter SNOWY weather we've been having in Illinois lately-Think tonight it will be -25 degrees with the wind chill- YIKES!
I would be wearing my snowsuit just like Avery With Snowman, found here at the PND Store.  Did you know that this isn't a rubber stamp? Paper Nest Dolls has digital images also and they are so handy to resize!
I decided to use this as a Birthday card-I always have requests for those!  After coloring her with copics, I edged the white card stock with a Color Box fluid ink in Peony.  Looks sharp next to the black sky/white snowflake paper and the Raspberry trimmed image.  I stamped using a white ink so it would show up against the pinkish-red card stock.  I finished the inside off with the same snow design paper.
Christine from PND has so many images for you to choose from--be sure to join in our challenge for a chance at some fabulous images.  It's our Birthday month--even more special when you join us to celebrate. Hope to see you there!

Winter Wonderland - Anything Goes over at Color It Create It Show It Off!

This is a great way to start off the New Year with a wonderful My Bestie image and a super monthly Challenge over at Color It Create It Show It Off!
This is Img 180 and she can be found here.  There are so many Winter/Seasonal images that Sherri Baldy has in her store!  Just perfect for the theme over at CICISIO--Winter Wonderland-Anything Goes!
I love the Skiing aspect of this image!  It's unique-I love the combination of purples and soft greens.  I added some diamond stickles on her fur "ruff" around the boots for some bling effect!  I used silver metallic on her poles and White Chunky Frantage for the snowy effect in the background.  I think the wooden snowflake is an adorable finish.  On the inside,I finished it with some triangles of design paper and a rubber stamp from my stash.  It's got multi-purposes for the giver of the creation!  Come join our Challenge--we'll ALL get inspired!
