Love Struck with Sherri Baldy's Images at Color It, Create It, Show It Off Challenge

For the month that's all about L.O.V.E, we are starting a new Challenge over at Color It, Create It, Show It Off with some wonderful Sherri Baldy images!

This one is Scan0066 and I think I've been bitten by the Luv Bug!  From her big green eyes to her frilly dress to the assorted posies and hearts in the corner, I'm Smitten.  After coloring her with Copics, I matted her on some pink chevron paper and then wrapped the corner with some pink satin ribbon with a repeated LOVE scripted on it.  I found this beautiful pink on pink swirly paper for the background, offset the image and used a great clear sentiment sticker that says "Love Struck". What fun it was to gather an assortment of different flowers, rosebuds, flower spikes and enameled cardstock colored hearts with words imprinted on them to anchor the corner of the card. On the inside, I used the overall pink heart paper and then used a colored digital sentiment heart that I had from my stash.  LOL it makes MY heart go all aflutter knowing that this one will go to someone special!
Now, go get inspired, come over and join us at Color It, Create It, Show It Off and enter your creation and make us fall in love with your present to us!  We'd love to have you join us!

Every challenge at Come And Get It is so much fun because we get to use so many gorgeous images from some great Sponsors!!  This week is no exception-Paper Nest Dolls has graciously allowed us multiple choices-I love this one called Emma w/ Snowflake Banner.  The Goal of the Challenge was to use 3 or more Layers, which I did with the double mats/paper lace/and the glitter swirly design paper.

At the top corner I wanted a little sparkle so I used some "Twinkle Goosebumps" in lavender.  The stamp fits perfectly underneath them and it's great for those wintry Birthdays.  On the inside liner, I repeated using the turquoise cardstock with an uplifting stamp in the corner and swirls of a white dimensional glittery flourishs.  Lots of room for Best Wishes.  Remember to stop by and show us your creation-we'd love to see it!!

Crafting When We Can is sponsored by Sasayaki Glitter this week--Spots &/or Stripes!

This week at Crafting When We Can, we have a great sponsor that I'm sure is no stranger to all of you-Sasayaki Glitter!  And the Theme for this challenge is Spots and/or Stripes.  That makes for a fun project!
The image I chose to use is Anita's Star and could be used for a number of cards-she's very versatile!  For mine, I made a Thinking of You card for a friend.  She is all colored with Copics and I'm really loving this angular look-an unusual touch for me.  The sentiment stamp is from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  On the inside, I finished it off with the yellow chevron paper and another sentiment in the same Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps group.  I can't wait to send this on to her and speaking of that, We can't wait to see YOUR creation at the Challenge..  Come on over and join in the fun!
I'm entering this in the Kraftin' Kimmie Blog Challenge-Square cards

Color It, Create It, Show It Off Challenge is ALWAYS Anything Goes!

This is a pleasant reminder that over at Color It, Create It, Show it Off we've still got our Challenge going on here and are just waiting for your entry!
We invite you all to play along with us.  There is a 3 entry limit and our challenge is Always Anything Goes.  It runs from the 1st of the month until the 29th of the month and the winners are announced on the last day of that month.
This card features an image of Sherri Baldy's known as Img 920 and can be found in Sherri's Shop here.  I LOVE  the soft colors I used on her-to me she always seemed to be ready to sit or lean up against a wall or box, something like that.  So, I created with Copics a stone wall.  Used a beautiful blue and brown paisley print paper and accented it with some blue & white baker's twine, tied with a silver dragonfly charm.

Perfect for the Friendship card! On the inside liner, I combined a fishtail banner with a stamped sentiment on it against the paisley backdrop.  Wouldn't you just love to get this in the mail?
Be sure and join us for some fun and prizes on our Challenge page!  Can't wait to see what you come up with at Color it, Create it, Show it Off

The Theme is WINTER over at Come and Get It Challenge-I'm featuring Ppinky Dolls!

Do you ever have an image you're working with that just puts a smile on your face and makes your project go quickly?  Well this image from Ppinky Dolls Art that I used on the Come and Get It Challenge was it for me- the THEME is Winter!
Now normally I would highlight the image right on the front of my cards but, with this image "Winter Walk", I wanted to accent the wispy hair and soul-searching eyes.  So using my circle die, I created a "peek-a-boo" hole which I then covered in a matching lime green embossed snowflake patterned paper.  The sentiment stamp is from KKS and perfect for so many things!  I think this trim makes it look like snowballs around the opening and I glued a silver snowflake charm to the seam.  When opened, now you can see the whole image that I colored with Copics.  Another sentiment from KKS great for Birthdays and an accent of silver balances the inside.
At Come and Get It, we have Challenges every week and have some Awesome Sponsors!  We really want you to come out and play-there are some wonderful prizes available and it's a great place to get inspired with new ideas!

Anything Goes in this Post for January-MoonFlower sponsoring Crafting When We Can

This lovely image is from MoonFlower Digi Stamps  and it is called Elf Maiden.  I just love the long flowing hair and she has many other gorgeous females on her site.  These were provided for us over at Crafting When We Can Challenges and we're always grateful to use beautiful images.  Our ATG Challenge runs for 2 weeks so there's plenty of time to Start the New Year out right and jump right in to our Challenges with your creations.
The design paper I used made me think of a muted watercolor-just loved it!  After coloring her with my copics and mounting it with an oval mat,  I found a great sentiment from KKS that could be used for several occasions.  Little mini pink pearls edged the oval image. On the inside liner of the card, I used a muted light lavender print with another KKS sentiment that worked well with the general theme of my creation.
So come and join in the fun at Crafting When We Can -the Theme is Anything Goes so any of your creations would fit right in!

Birthday Challenge at My Besties International Challenge-All Month Long!

If you're like me, I never have enough Birthday Cards for friends and family.   This is Img121 and she is one of the Sweet Treat Besties in Sherri Baldy's shop found here.

At the My Besties International Challenge, they are celebrating their 4 YEAR BIRTHDAY and with this Challenge, they have a big prize pack to go out to their random winner and Top 3 Winners this month!

This beauty is colored with Copics and then the mat is edged with a row of paper lace with dew drops in the center of the chevrons.  The interesting paper has some glossy embossed cupcakes on it with some glitter on the shapes.  I added a sheer white chiffon bow and a cute stamp that says "Got Cake?".  On the inside, I used confetti paper with another sentiment--It's all about the SWEETS Ladies!

It runs all month long so there's plenty of time to get your beautiful creation entered into the Challenge!  Come join us for the FUN!
