Always Anything Goes at Color It Create It Show It Off!

 Wow It's already April!!  While I'm looking forward to Spring, I wonder where did the past few months go!  It's a late Easter this year, so this month at Color It Create It Show It Off we're celebrating with Spring images.  This image from Sherri Baldy is called Bunny Love or Img098 and I just love her!
From the Furry ears to her droopy socks and bandaid, all colored with Copics.  I edged the image with Distress ink in green to make her stand out. 
I added a sticker that actually has a rolled flower on it-great set!  Using a softly colored pastel background paper, I added a strip of accent blue with a paper lace overlay. I kept the inside of the card ('cause I always finish them off) very simple with strips of accent colors/design.  Then inked a sentiment on it.  It's all ready to go for whatever occasion you need-very versatile.  Please come over and play at our challenge-it's always Anything Goes so please join us with any image, any project!

Sherri Baldy's Birthday Bash-Come help us Celebrate!

 As we are starting, I hope, to come out of the Winter doldrums and welcome Spring...at Color It Create It Show It Off, we are celebrating a month long Birthday Bash using Sherri Baldy's images!  Through out the month, we have several special colored creations that we want to share with you.  AND we want you to join us and share what are YOUR favorite images from Sherri.
My image is called Brittany and Mouse and can be found in Sherri's Shop.  It just made me feel like going Easter Egg Hunting so that was the focus of the papers and embellies!  The plastic hollow Speckled Easter Eggs I used were thin enough that I could cut them in half, then put 2 foam pop dots inside and hot glued them onto the cards-I then added sprigs of ferny branches.  It's stamped with a KKS clear stamp and perfect for the Spring wishes.  Then on the inside, I used the reverse side of several of the papers for a fun mat of a stamped sentiment from my stash.  I've indeed found many friends by joining the My Besties groups that were founded by Sherri Baldy. and am thrilled using her images and seeing the creations that everyone makes with them!  So happy to be here sharing in her Birthday Bash and hope you will join us also in the Challenge! Guest Designer at Besties International-Theme is Reds and Pinks for the month of LOVE!

I'm feeling so blessed to be asked to submit this card for the February Guest Designer at My Besties International Challenge Blog!  There are SO many talented people that post gorgeous projects there that I'm truly humbled.
I chose to use one of Sherri Baldy's "Pocket card Sheets" and this one is called Bestie Party Paper Pocket Letter Kit-whew that's a mouthful!  It can be found here in the Sherri Baldy Shop .  It has so many panels to either adjust to a larger size or, like I did here, use multiple sections.  I used 3 different ones and matted them, edging with cat's eye chalk.  I popped the center one up with dimensional foam dots.  I did add some additional depth to the cutie pie in the center with my copics but otherwise, it was so handy to use pre-colored!  I mounted them on a GREAT Sherri Baldy style paper (crowns with glitter!) and wrapped the end with a soft pink grosgrain ribbon.
On the inside liner,I used a strip of said crown paper and another matter pocket card-this time stamped with a rockin' good sentiment for the Birthday girl!  Please come and celebrate with us at My Besties International Challenge-the theme is reds and pinks-how perfect for the month of Love!  Thanks Gals for the privilege to show my design on your fantastic Challenge board!

Color It, Create It, Show It Off Challenge is ALWAYS Anything Goes!

 This is a pleasant reminder that over at Color It, Create It, Show it Off we've still got our Challenge going on here and are just waiting for your entry!

This card features an image of Sherri Baldy's known as Img 920 and can be found in Sherri's Shop here.  I LOVE  the soft colors I used on her-to me she always seemed to be ready to sit or lean up against a wall or box, something like that.  So, I created with Copics a stone wall.  Used a beautiful blue and brown paisley print paper and accented it with some blue & white baker's twine, tied with a silver dragonfly charm.

 Perfect for the Friendship card! On the inside liner, I combined a fishtail banner with a stamped sentiment on it against the paisley backdrop.  Wouldn't you just love to get this in the mail?

Birthday Challenge at My Besties International Challenge-All Month Long!

If you're like me, I never have enough Birthday Cards for friends and family.   This is Img121 and she is one of the Sweet Treat Besties in Sherri Baldy's shop found here.  

At the My Besties International Challenge, they are celebrating their 4 YEAR BIRTHDAY and with this Challenge, they have a big prize pack to go out to their random winner and Top 3 Winners this month! 
 
This beauty is colored with Copics and then the mat is edged with a row of paper lace with dew drops in the center of the chevrons.  The interesting paper has some glossy embossed cupcakes on it with some glitter on the shapes.  I added a sheer white chiffon bow and a cute stamp that says "Got Cake?".  On the inside, I used confetti paper with another sentiment--It's all about the SWEETS Ladies!

It runs all month long so there's plenty of time to get your beautiful creation entered into the Challenge!  Come join us for the FUN!

Snowflakes are Blowing at Color It Create It Show It Off w/ Sherri Baldy's Images

 What a great way to start out the New Year than with a New Challenge at Color It Create It Show It Off!   We are using Sherri Baldy images and this one, that is perfect for any Winter Occasion, is called Img 911 and can be found here in the store.  Done in Pinks and Grays, I added my favorite "go-to" for snowflakes, White Chunky Frantage.  I then mounted her on some glittery ornament paper pack called Silver Bells by KaiserCraft (as is the blue silver foil background paper.  I wrapped the card front with some snowball fiber and added some clear dew drops.
On the inside liner, I kept it pretty simple, using a weathered wood look in soft blue.  Added a
Merry Christmas sentiment that was already pre-printed in the Kaisercraft pkt.  Wonderful to have all the accents you need in one place!

Great Christmas cards created with Sherri Ann Baldy imges! Purple & Lime love it!

One of my favorite Christmas card digital images this year was the one you see here from Sherri Baldy!  We know it as Scan 102 and she can be found HERE in Sherri's store, newly released.
I always have a love/hate relationship with the colors of purple but thought I'd tackle it for this card-because of the awesome paper I found that contained purple/lime, one of my favorite combinations.
After coloring with copics, and accenting all the beads, stars, and snowflakes with stickles and liquid pearls, I matted her with lime green and then wrapped the image with purple sheer chiffon ribbon.  I added a great sentiment stamp from KKS and a silver Tree charm with narrow bow.
The inside liner continues the color theme and a larger clear stamp from KKS.  I love how festive this card turned out!!

It's Anything Goes with Sherri Baldy Images-Monthly Challenge at Color It, Creat It, and Show It Off!

 I just love the Fall colors that I used with this image from Sherri Baldy and it's a perfect theme for a Thanksgiving Day card!  It's Img0061 from her store here and while I imagine that she's loving some hot coffee in the morning, for me it would be a large cup of hot chocolate!  This is my first card for the Sherri Baldy group, Color It, Create It, Show It Off Challenge and it's a month long event that I would love for you to join us in!
I double matted her colored image and then used the fall leaves paper from my stash.  Down at the bottom right corner, I used a burgundy colored sticker that says "Thankful" and then mounted 2 glittered metal fall leaves on either side.  On the inside, I used this glorious rich red paper with muted leaves, and swirly script sentiments all over it.  Found this perfect transparent sticker that says GIVE THANKS.  I can't wait to send it to a close friend.

FALL is in the air at MY Besties UK Challenge- Come and Play-Anything Goes with SPARKLE OR BLING!

 Our MY Besties UK Challenge this month is all about the upcoming Season..Fall/Autumn!  The crisp air and frost on the pumpkins will soon be with us and I just love the freshness that's all around!
In celebration of this time, I'm using Sherri Baldy's  Img 075 Sophia,  and I colored her with copics in Navy and oranges.  I was so thrilled to find this modern design paper from Cloud 9 Design and the blue circles are glittered!  I made a dimensional card by putting a braided brown ribbon across the bottom of the card, added individual pumpkins fancy cut and elevated with pop dots, then added a black doily with some swirl burst brads with colored stones by Karen Foster -reminds me of fireworks or fireflies...

On the inside liner, I used the same paper but put an insert using a great orange patterned paper.  A cardstock sticker for the season finishes it off.
Now lets see what creations you come up with!!  The theme is Fall and I'm sure you are itching to use some of those gorgeous Autumn papers!  Our challenge ends on the 28th of the month and you may enter up to 3 times if you use a Sherri Baldy image.

New DT Opportunity at My Besties UK Team! It's time for SAME BUT DIFFERENT! It's a Winner for me!!

I'm so honored to be asked to join the Design Team of My Besties UK Group!  This is my first card with them and I can't tell you how I agonized over every Copic Stroke that I made~I just wanted it to be perfect you see!
The 15th of every month we post our creations, each of us using the same image but with our own Flair added!  Thus the title "Same But Different".  The Winner of that My Besties UK Challenge will get the Image we use FREE!  I decided to work with red and tried to get the depth into the flower. For me, it's a difficult color to truly get accurate. After working for hours on the coloring, I double matted Img 933 Valentine.  mounted it on a cut-back card front-hoping you can see on the insert picture. Added a brushed silver dragonfly brad in the corner and faceted jet black bling in the corner.  The inside has a complimentary liner of patterned tone on tone design paper, a flourish sticker to accent the white ink stamped sentiment.
I think it will make a great card for a friend of mine-she will Love the Big eyed Girl image from Sherri Baldy!  Make sure you come back for the main My Besties UK Challenge on the 1st of every month, and watch for the theme, where
