Cable Knit, Red Buffalo Checks, Snowflakes=Great Winter ATG Card at All Dressed Up!

Happy New Year Dressy's!
Welcome back to a brand new year 2017 and with it comes a brand new challenge. We hope you have had a lovely holiday and found some time to create!
As always the theme for our Blog Challenge is -
but you must use a All Dressed Up Image.
Not got any? There are some gorgeous freebies -} here.
But please respect the rules!
Or you can buy any of Wendy's fab images from the All Dressed Up store -} here.
Now what could be easier than that?

We will randomly pick a winner to receive 3 images of your choice, and our DT will chose their top 3 creations.

The Image I chose to work with is called A Time for Walkies.  Since we're close to Valentines' Day, I used some deep reds and black then threw on some Chunky Frantage for the great snow effect.  I used as one of the backgrounds a great paper that looks like a White Cable Stitched Sweater-it is so neat!  Then added some Red Buffalo Check design paper and some wooden snowflakes--real rustic!
We do hope you will find the time to play along - You have until the evening of the 14th Feb to enter your creations using the link below.

There are no new releases this month as Wendy is having a well deserved break but be sure to check at the beginning of February when we will be bring you some brand new inspiration.

And don't forget the challenge on our Facebook Page starting on the 1st of each month running throughout the complete month with a theme. Why not play along for the chance to win even more gorgeous All Dressed Up images.

And don't forget to visit our Etsy Store to see all of Wendy's fabulous image.
We will invite one of these winners back as a guest DT for our next challenge.

New Release time at All Dressed UP! LOVE the Winter scenes!

I love Challenges, the actual opportunities in life that make us think outside the box and work our brain matter to new heights!  When I got the chance to use one of the new releases from All Dressed Up called Winter Must Haves, I'll admit I wondered what I could come up with to showcase these great seasonal images!  Then I reverted back to what I love to create-little scenes that tell a story.  I had this super winter scene background that came already colored.  What I wanted to indicate was that the clothes had gotten wet in the snow and as the guy on TV's Adventure show always says get out of your wet clothes cause you will freeze to death!  So I flung the mittens on a string over a branch, tacked up the wet sweater, got out of the skis, put the hat on the pole light to day, socks off and a cup of warm cocoa (don't ask me where that came from but it was fun to add in there).   I have a history of liking to paper piece so, I duplicated the background and fancy cut a few branches with snow on them feathered the edges and hung them around in several key areas.  In the inside, I found a a grayish blue snowflake scene and added a large Christmas stamp.Remember to pop over and buy them from our Etsy store and don't forget we have two challenges running right now -
Our Blog Challenge
