Winter Images showing up at All Dressed Up Digital Stamps

I just LOVE this image from All Dressed Up Digital Stamps, called Christmas Sprinkles.  Designed by our resident artist, Wendy Burns, there are many gorgeous images for all seasons in her ADU Store.

I colored the image with my fav, Copics, added some cooking cutouts in the corner, and a laser cut trim from my stash.  The Design Team is presenting today the New Releases for October--We know you will find one, or 2, or 3 images that just put a smile on your face!  Thanks for looking!

Seasonal Changes at All Dressed Up Digital Stamps! New Release!

This is my card using Falling Leaves for the New Release at All Dressed Up Digital Stamps.  For the first time a piece of fall printed vellum "fell" on my card blank and I decided to use it! Magical... I have several printed vellum in my stash through the years but never thought to use them as background...duh!

I also used Glossy Accents on the leaves swirling around, fussy cut.  Some Wooden leaves glued to some hemp twine and a stamp from my stash.  On the inside I used more leaf paper and a great Fall Banner from a paper pack

Wendy Burns our in house Artist has created some super Fall images for the start of Fall. Look through her shop where you will find loads of wonderful images for all seasons.

Time on the Beach with "Sea Shells" from All Dressed Up Digital Stamps

Summer is about over so I'm creating a card using "Sea Shells" from All Dressed Up!

I wanted to try a technique that I haven't used in a long time--Paper Piecing!  I did double stamping, once on my white cardstock and once on a design print  floral paper. It really makes you concentrate on how to cut out your paper, behind the hair, around the shoulder of the dress, over her legs.  Sometimes frustrating, but always rewarding.

I used a mask to cover the b&w stamp up so that I could get the sky and sand colored in.  Then I pieced all the layers together, and under the hat I also used dimensional dots for depth.  I used copics for my shading on the DP.  I used some squiggly paper that reminded me of swirls in the water and then mounted the sentiment on foam tape.

Summertime on the Beach~ All Dressed Up Stamps

SUMMER is almost over and I can't wait until I smell the first crisp Autumn breezes.  But, until then, we're enjoying all of our WARM creations over at All Dressed Up Stamps!  This image is called Beach Time and can be found here in the Store.  This is for our monthly Challenge which will run until the 14th of the next month.  Come JOIN US!!

I LOVED putting this one together-wanting to stick with pastel shades with my copics.  I tried a little different effect with my clouds this time and am quite happy with them. Hoping to get the Postage Stamp effect with my die from my stash.  A few opaque colored dots for accents.  I always try to finish the inside of my cards-this paper reminded me of water bubbles.  And I used a stamp from my stash.

Riding the Waves with All Dressed Up Stamps

Another Beachy Summer themed card using the image "Flamingo Splash" from All Dressed Up Stamps!  At least all these water cards are making me cooler in this terrible heat wave.

Using her large Flamingo Floatie, this cutie is riding the ocean waves eating an Ice Cream cone(looks like chocolate/blueberry/and strawberry to me)  Using my copics for all the coloring on the card, I brought out an 'ole friend--white Frantage, little white balls that get melted or at least adhered to the surface.  They can look like water spray to snowflakes depending on the amount of heat you apply.

The inside of the card is finished with seashell paper and a stamp from my stash

Hope everyone will get some relief from this heat this next week.  Stay Cool and carry on.

It's STRAWBERRY PICKING Time over at All Dressed Up Stamps!

I just LOVE strawberries-we used to take the kids to the strawberry fields and let them pick, and EAT, all they wanted to before taking our load home to process.  This cutie NEW IMAGE is called STRAWBERRY SEASON  from All Dressed Up Stamps.  Making my mouth water just looking at her.

I made this card on a Mini Slim blank-was new to me but excellent for those narrower images.  Using of course red gingham paper for the background, trimmed the edge with red rickrack, a buggy themed paper as an accent-the card was created.  I used dimensional dots to lift her from the background.  Somehow I got a swish of green copic marker under her ear-OH NO...just turned it into a strawberry earring and the recipient will never know! On the inside, I continued with yellow gingham paper and stamped in brown the sunflower-sign-and message from my stash.

Hope you like and hope you enjoy this DT creation of mine for ADU!

Come back soon, Carolyn

New SUMMER Images over at All Dressed Up Stamps! Stay Cool!

Here in Illinois and throughout the Midwest, we've been experiencing a terrible Heat Wave with "feels like" temps in the 100+ range.  Another local nickname for it is Corn Sweat!!!  Here at home we're surrounded by fields of corn so spend much time inside in the shade.

Thanks to the Design Team that I'm on for All Dressed Up, we get images to color and play with for our projects--Lots of beachy themes you will notice. This one called "BEACH TIME" makes me feel like the waves are splashing on my toes!

Come over and play with us using one of the new Images!

Happy EARLY Valentine's Day from All Dressed Up Stamps!

Happy Valentine's Day!!
It's still cold and somewhat snowy here in Illinois but at least we have dodged the large sweeping heavy snow storm heading to the New England States!
The card shown is from the great digital images from All Dressed Up Digital Images Store~ There are so many to choose from!  The image I used for the New Release on the 7th is called "Hugs"-so appropriate don't you think?  It is mounted on a A6 card and that gave me lots of room to stack papers and embellishments/dies/and stamps from my scraping stash.
Hope to see you in one of our Challenges that start on the 15th of each month.

 Love,
Carolyn
