Have you ever seen a heart shaped flower? Check out Paper Nest Dolls!

 Hello Ladies!
Wanted to share my latest creation for
Paper Nest Dolls!

I made a 3/4 card front, which gave me a chance to used the decorative crocheted lace and to show the pretty bird paper peeking out from underneath!  Then I used purple sequins for the flower in the front as well as a vine ribbon for the stems-great find!  On the inside liner, I used the bird paper and used a stamped Sentiment from my stash.  You can find Christines' store here where there are tons of cute images for you to use!  Check it our and come join our Challenge!
This image is called Ellie with Heart Flower.

I had such fun coloring her up and using patterned paper with it's creation!  I mostly colored in copics but the sheer skirt I wanted to be soft so I used some Prismacolor pencils.  I just love using buttons as some dimensional accents!  On the inside, I continued the Chevron paper and a great Friendship sentiment-could be used in so many ways!

Img 663 from Sherri Baldy--I call her Twinkle Toes

I'm fascinated with some of the "dancers" that Sherri Baldy's created through the years.  This one is Img 663, but I like to think of her as "Twinkle Toes".
The Hibiscus flower in her hair led me to think of the ones I've seen lately this summer in the nurseries--hot pinks and oranges. Perfect for this little dancer.  Used some of the copics that I don't get out that often!
Found this fun mini tassel ribbon in a coral color and striking black/colors in the paper and then added a hot pink paper flower for the corner.  On the inside is an amazing stripe in complimentary colors with a dimensional Birthday greeting.

Moonlight and Love over at Sherri Baldy's Gnomeville

I count myself so lucky in that I often am coloring up Sherri Baldy Images and getting such pleasure and relaxation from this!  As part of Sherri's Coloring Team, I get so excited when I see a new line of "Cuties" that she's created and can't wait to get my hands on them!
You can find this Great group of Gnomes in her latest category, "Gnomeville" found here.
I had started working on this detailed coloring when a dear friend was looking for a Wedding Anniversary Card.  Aha!  I had just the card and you are now looking at it.
The Moon set the tone for an evening sky, the Love theme made me think of the saying on the little sign (not part of the image) which I attached so the rope looked like it went over the limb.  With some Chestnut Road Cat's Eye Chalk, I made the edges Vintage like.
On the inside, I found some peach vintage like paper and used a stamp from KKS which says it all!  Please check out Sherri's store-You will definitely find something you will love!

New Digital Images over at All Dressed Up!

It's time for new releases over at All Dressed Up and Wendy's been busy creating so many cute images for us!

This one is called Butterfly Wings and perfect for this time of year- I know I'm seeing them all over the flowers in our yard!  After coloring her with Copics, I matted her with dark purple design paper and then used some glitter embossed patterned heavy paper.  It sure is hard to capture the sparkle in the light!  The prettiest accent is the double layer glittered butterfly in the corner.
On the inside, I used the same glittery embossed for a liner, then coloring up one of a unique  set of printed sentiments on watercolor paper, I added it to finish the card off.  Hope you like it and will visit the ADU site so see all the gorgeous images that are available for your coloring fun!

Great summertime images at Paper Nest Dolls new Release!

Over at Paper Nest Dolls we are celebrating Summer and Christine Young's Newest Releases for June!  This image is called Avery with Summer Drink -one thing that you find with her images is that they are so versatile!  For instance, the b&w image you receive has a dress and headband that are blank.  I decided to make stripes and polkadots an option for this fun coloring and here we are!  I love working in her images hairdo's --the waves always come out so luxurious!
So I found in my paper stashes (hoard) some very colorful, Spring/Summer papers to use.  The good thing about these double-sided papers is that one of the sentiments I used in the inside, comes from the back!  So on the front, I split the card in half and used some paper lace to tie them together, trimmed with some beautiful satin ribbon.  The final touch "for the beach look" was adding some beige Flower Soft glued at the bottom to replicate Sand.  These type of "in the moment" cards are great for SO many occasions!  I'm sure you can think of lots of ways!  Please check out all her other images and new releases-Come join the fun!
