Falling Leaves using a Sherri Baldy image called Leaf Bestie Girl

What a great image for Thanksgiving, Fall gatherings, or just to celebrate cooler weather!!  She's called Leaf Bestie Girl and be found at the Bestie Shop by using the Link.  I colored her with Copics and had just a fun time blending multiple colors to get the Fall leaves just right.  My favorites are the burgundy ones! I was lucky to have several reverse papers that all seemed to blend well with each other so have lots of patterns on this card.  On the inside, I continued the polka dotted patterned paper with a dimensional embellishment.  There's one on the card front also.  I'm so happy to be a Bestie Girl on several of Sherri's Design Teams-what great images we get to use!!  Hope you like her!

Having a Barefoot Day Out with a Sherri Baldy Image!

Good morning everyone!
I want to share an image that just makes me smile-she's called
I wanted 2 different looks on this scene: One was I wanted her to
be standing on some pebbles then Two, I was going for a different
background so I worked with doing random dots in different
strength dots.  Hope you like the effects!

Img 663 from Sherri Baldy--I call her Twinkle Toes

I'm fascinated with some of the "dancers" that Sherri Baldy's created through the years.  This one is Img 663, but I like to think of her as "Twinkle Toes".
The Hibiscus flower in her hair led me to think of the ones I've seen lately this summer in the nurseries--hot pinks and oranges. Perfect for this little dancer.  Used some of the copics that I don't get out that often!
Found this fun mini tassel ribbon in a coral color and striking black/colors in the paper and then added a hot pink paper flower for the corner.  On the inside is an amazing stripe in complimentary colors with a dimensional Birthday greeting.

Moonlight and Love over at Sherri Baldy's Gnomeville

I count myself so lucky in that I often am coloring up Sherri Baldy Images and getting such pleasure and relaxation from this!  As part of Sherri's Coloring Team, I get so excited when I see a new line of "Cuties" that she's created and can't wait to get my hands on them!
You can find this Great group of Gnomes in her latest category, "Gnomeville" found here.
I had started working on this detailed coloring when a dear friend was looking for a Wedding Anniversary Card.  Aha!  I had just the card and you are now looking at it.
The Moon set the tone for an evening sky, the Love theme made me think of the saying on the little sign (not part of the image) which I attached so the rope looked like it went over the limb.  With some Chestnut Road Cat's Eye Chalk, I made the edges Vintage like.
On the inside, I found some peach vintage like paper and used a stamp from KKS which says it all!  Please check out Sherri's store-You will definitely find something you will love!

It's Raining Hearts on Sherri Baldy's Blog with Img 235

My latest creation for Sherri Baldy's Blog today is called Img 235  Raining Hearts.  It just cheered me up working on her in this oppressive HEAT we've had in Illinois!
I used a blue glaze on her for the glasses, a wooden LOVE Embellie,
3 orange "Twinkle Goosebumps" , and a section of paper lace.
On the inside a simple but meaningful sentiment.  This card will be going to a dear friend that will be leaving the office shortly.  She will be missed !!!
Check out Sherri's Store and find your own special image that conveys all your feelings.  She's got hundreds of them!

Flowers are coming! Spring is here!

Anyone that knows me very well knows I love flowers of any shape or kind!  I get that from my Mom and my enthusiasm has spread to my Hubby-last year in our pasture, he planted over 300,000 Zinnia seeds in a spiral garden so I could walk around them and cut one of my favorite flowers.  That's why I seem drawn to Sherri Baldy's images even MORE than usual when they have flowers on them!  This one is called Fancy Pants Img 74 and can be found in the store here. I luckily found this gorgeous paisley paper in my stash with the yellows, lavenders, and green from the image.  The image has been colored with copic pens, she's double matted, with a ribbon accent.  I like eclectic groups of flowers and textures and found this array in my stash also.
Please enjoy wandering through all the different categories in Sherri's store!  Not only images but papers, flowers, embellishments, fabric, oh the list goes on!
