The neat thing is that I got to use an image from Kenny K Downloads called Farmers Daughter! She's adorable~
NOW the best part of this challenge is that "across the pond" they will be celebrating St. David's Day soon. I admit that I had to brush up on my geography and traditions to get the true grasp of what a big deal this is. I found flags in black & gold, Welsh flags in green, white, and red with a big red dragon in the middle and gorgeous daffodils. Now that's a whole lot of "stuff" to get worked into a card even by someone in the USA! But now you can understand my choice of mat and background design paper and the white buttons with black & white baker's twine. The Welsh flag colors show upin her "Farmers" clothes and hat. No dragon lol, but think I got everything else accounted for. In the inside I added some complimentary paper and a pretty sentiment. I hope you've enjoyed learning about the Welsh celebration and my card. Be sure and go enter in our Weekly challenge at Through the Purple Haze.
