This is an exciting release for May from Doodle Pantry called "Summer Birdies" and the images and papers in this set are terrific! I offset cut the front of the card so that it highlighted the "head Bird". What I enjoyed the most was all the paper piecing that I did on all the birds! In 2 dimensional pictures, it's hard to see the details but, I popped out the front brim on the blue cap, the beak, the front wing, the rope and the pink starfish-I just couldn't stop myself! This set comes with some great sentiments so I added one at the bottom!
When you open it, there are the Birdie Friends and they each have accents also that have been popped up off the papers. I love this water like paper that comes in the set and also the front "tile" paper. There's lot of places to add your own greeting on the inside. For sure will put a smile on anyone's face this summer!I'm entering this in Sentimental Sundays -Things with Wings. Doodle Pantry is sponsoring this challenge this week.
