That being said, I love the feminine feel of this blue card with the pearls, paper lace (thanks Pammie), ribbons, flower punchies. The paisley paper I used is embossed with blue glossy accents making it catch the light.
Then I decided to try one with a different punchie and vintage yellow and Red rose paper with a grungy feel to it. The "dress" is mounted on yellow vellum/mounted on the rose paper with orange/yellow bling at each flower center. I added some delicate flourishes (thanks Teresa!), crystal buttons, cream ribbon and paper lace. I can't wait to send these to some dear friends! I will place this on the ScrapBook Place Blog where our challenge for the month is FLOWERS-I love this time of year-everything's so pretty!
I'm entering this in the following challenges:
Very beautiful Carolyn! Elegant!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful cards Carolyn. I like blue card more, but only because my favorite color is blue :) They are both gorgeous. Thanks so much for joining Digi Makeover Challenge at PMS. Hope to see you again soon.
ReplyDeleteEret xx
Thanks Eret! I like the "fluttery?" look of the larger flowers myself on the blue one-appreciate the remarks!

These are both stunning! (I may need to scraplift too. :-). ) I love how you can get a totally different look and feel depending on papers, etc. I would have a very hard time choosing between the two. So glad you joined us for the May Flowers challenge at Paper Makeup Stamps' Digi Makeover Challenge this week.
ReplyDeleteWow!!! These are just beautiful!! Awesome job!! Hugs,T
