Squigglefly says Show me Your Christmas Cards

On Squigglefly this week, we were asked by our fearless Team Leader of Rhonda's Rowdy Rascals to create a Christmas card.  I really need to get busy on mine so will use this push to get me started!  I've used the gorgeous images of Inger Harding in a series that she calls Winter Wonderland and love the vintage look of the papers as well as the images in beautiful shades of blue.  I used as my base of the card a great textured card stock called Pearlized Esse White by The Paper Cut and this yummy shimmery pale blue called Bluebell from the same store.  I tried to angle the card so you could get how beautiful the shimmer is.  I tucked in 2 of the great images by Inger underneath the sheer white ribbon.  On the one pushing the sled, I put iridescent Stickles dotted on her to simulate snow falling.  I placed a Memory Box snowflake die cut up in the corner with some turquoise Stickles as accents.  I guess it's official, I have started...but have so many more to make.  That's what is so great about these 2 companies, Squigglefly and The Paper Cut---I should be able to whip out some beautiful cards with all the images and card stock that I'm finding at their locations!
Come and join us this week's Challenge-If you use a SF image, you can win another image for your library!  Thanks for visiting!

  3. Carolyn, I love these papers. I didn't even know we had papers! I had just told myself not to buy any more images until my birthday and now I want these and that cute shy bear carousal image Debbie used recently. Urgh!!! What a great card full of pretty papers and images and you did a good job with the layout and sparkles! Hugz!
