Snail's Pace Digital Image from Polkadoodles

 

The "Craze" that's really popular now is anything  with gnomes!  Well Polkadoodles has a new line of Gnomes that are SO amusing and you can find them here. 

The one that I've used in this card is called "Snail's Pace".    This image also comes in colored digital individually as well as in a bundle of other gnomes.  I added some cobblestones for her to walk on by use of a stencil and also added a subtle background that looks like green vines using a stencil for that also.  A Butterfly embellishment was added to the corner for dimension.  While I added a distressed paper in the inside, I haven't yet added a sentiment as it's so versatile:  Birthday, snail mail, get well soon, etc...  Thanks for checking Polkadoodles out-they're Great!

What a Great Spring image from Polkadoodles - It's an image called Holly Bunny and she can be found here!

 

I put a sunny yellow gingham paper as the background to her green matted hand colored image.  I used several copic colors and Distress inks on my stencils which I will list at the bottom.  This is how the original image comes to me in b&w:

 I thought I'd show you the various steps it takes during the coloring process while adding the background of clouds, cobblestones, shadows, weeds/grass.  I hope you enjoy this!

All Dressed Up Stamps Monthly Challenge--using an ADU image

 

    It won't be long before the kids will be ready to camp in the back yard with all the night owls and lightening bugs!

    This image from All Dressed Up Stamps is called "Little Camp" and was such FUN to color with my copics.  Wendy Burns, our artist in residence, always gives us clean images with such detail!  Check them out in the ADU Shop here.  The heavy, gorgeous Teepee paper I used is from my LLS - perfect for the background! I used an eyelet style die for the image and a sentiment from a Carta Bella Flower Market paper pad.                                         

On the inside, I finished it with the print on the backside of the tent paper.  And again, the sentiment is from the paper pad previously used.
