A Springtime creation for the All Dressed Up CHALLENGE--ATG

Hi there!  It's Carolyn bringing you a Springtime card from the great All Dressed Up Shop!  This card is for the ADU CHALLENGE where you could win some free images from this great company--But you can't WIN unless you enter.  It runs for a month-from the 15th of the month to the 14th of the next month.  Plenty of Time!!
I'm using a recent image called Piggy Back--the image comes with the the featured young lady and the 2 mushrooms at her feet.  I think I went crazy adding in the flowers, grass, and pebbles at her feet, as well as the sky using copic markers.
I double matted her picture, added a pink and white heavy daisy ribbon along the side and softened it with a sheer pink bow.  For a little bling,
I added 3 pink epoxy dots at the top.
I always finish off the insides of my cards so here is a look at that:
There's lots of room to write a personal message.

Thanks for looking-I'd love for you to start following me on my Blog.  I'm on several DTs and hope to inspire you with my creations!

Hang In There

I'm sure your home is affected, as is mine, with this Covid 19 virus that is spreading across our wonderful Country.  At the digital stamp company All Dressed Up, our artist in residence, Wendy Burns, decided to give us some uplifting images to work with for the New Release this month.  I think we all needed them!
The image I used is call "Hang in There" and can be found in the ADU Shop.  Cute little elephant floating away into the clouds, leaving all his cares behind him.  I added some cloud die cuts for dimension and added a sheer white ribbon.
On the inside, I used a
design paper with lots of birds on it--thinking
he surely is going to meet up with birds on his
journey .  I used a sentiment straight from one of my 6x6 paper pads from Carta Bella-love them!

Please check out all the other new releases on our home page-they are inspiring for sure!  We have a new Challenge that starts on the 15th and we'd love to see your creations!  You could possibly win some images from the Shop.  If you would like to see more of the projects that I create, I would be thrilled if you would follow my Blog!

Using "Welcome Baby" image for the April Challenge at Paper Nest Dolls!

Well after a brief hiatus, I'm able to return to Paper Nest Dolls for the April Challenge, which we have every month on the 3rd.  So excited to be using one of the new March Releases called Welcome Baby.  It seems people are always wanting baby cards and I never have enough.  So it was a great chance to start building these up with these cute animals.
After coloring with Copics, I kept the background white-sort of Fresh looking!  Put brown, gray, blue and yellow epoxy dots as accents.  This mini dot design paper already had the heart edge so I used it as an accent also.  There's a brown & white check as a mat for the image-I decided to give them a gray paver street to walk on.  On the inside, I used a boyish style print that I thought match really well and stamped it with a sentiment from my stash.
I hope you will join us at the Challenge-we'd love to see your creations!

Crafty Sentiments is the sponsor of Anything Goes over at Craft Your Passion!

It's been soo long since I've done a Baby card but with this image from Crafty Sentiments, it just inspired me to whip one up!  These little bears, called A Gentle Touch, looked so cute just sitting there!  We have some great sponsors for Craft Your Passion's bi-monthly Anything Goes Challenges and Crafty Sentiments sure didn't let us down this week.  I used several layers of colored dots to try and create fluffs of fur.  Then off-set the mat patterned paper so that I could use some flower gems with rhinestone centers for both the side and the center of the sheer bow.  Then in the inside I used a teddy bear patterned paper with a sheer vellum sentiment so all you have to do is all your own touches.  Hope you will play along with us this week!

National Teddy Bear Day....Yesterday! My Squigglefly Image

Well as much as I tried yesterday to get this adorable card posted in time to celebrate, I ran out of time!  But this image from Squigglefly called Teddy Driver by Marla Shega, is such a perfect example of a Teddy Bear!  This artist continually draws images with gorgeous shading and fantastic detail-what a joy to color!

I'm planning on doing 1 for each season, changing the colors in the trees and maybe putting snow on the fairway?  Definitely a manly Birthday card and I sure need more of those!

Please join us at Squigglefly to see ALL the artists' images in the Shop-We have new images and sets premiering the first Saturday of every month and all sell at very reasonable prices.  AND come and play with us on our weekly challenge and Win a digital image!

Thank you-Thank You-Thank You! Holly, it's your time at Squigglefly~

I'm very pleased to Showcase my DT entry for this week's Challenge at Squigglefly!  Often times we let the opportunity go by in life to say Thank you to a Family member...a Friend...a fellow worker...a stranger that has done us or someone else a good deed.  I've always felt that we just need a little more KINDNESS in our World to make everything "Right".  Maybe joining us this week in our Thank You Card contest would be the first start for you!  THEN, when you're done making it, you could send it off to someone who may or may not know that they made a difference in your life!  What a wonderful thought!  Like Paying it Forward~ That's how I feel about our leader here at Squigglefly, Holly.  She does so much for all of us and makes us feel so welcome in her "Family".  I'm so glad that I'm part of her great group of gals and she makes me feel Blessed every day.
For my card this week, I used a soft vintage feel flowered background print-I love these colors!  One of the images at Squigglefly lately has been "Big Bear Heart" by Cheryl Alger.  I COULDN'T resist making this lovable bear into a Wobble image.  I'm always tempted to take a picture showing the blur of the Wobble but just figure everyone would just think I'd taken a horrible picture. From my stash, I stamped a sentiment and then threaded a grosgrain ribbon through the punched slots.  The inside has a rose pink renaissance die cut with a sentiment attached.
Come have some fun with us, get a chance to win a digital image and in the end, have a card to share your thoughts with someone in your life!  I'd like to enter this card in the "Show Me Thursday" challenge Blog that Cheryl Alger promotes- it's a great chance to randomly be chosen to win one of her great digis.  Thanks for looking!  Carolyn
