New Release of Christmas Images at All Dressed Up Stamps

This is the New Release for November from All Dressed Up Stamps-I'm using the image
It's perfect for the Holidays!
Thought I'd try and use one of my pre-scored Slimline Blanks so that I could use a new
Stamp with the "designed" trees as a background!  It worked perfectly- I just colored different shades of green with my copics.  I reduced the size of this cutie stamp so that it would fit but, as the
images from ADU are digital that was an easy process.
I used dimensional dots to elevate the image for a shadow effect.  The Ho Ho Ho sentiment was also part of the clear acrylic stamp so Bonus!  A little bit of Posca white ink splattered on the card was a great snowy effect. The inside of the card was finished with a beautiful woodgrain effect paper and stamped with a perfect sentiment.

It's new Winter images at All Dressed Up--ATG on our Challenge!

Welcome back to a brand new challenge. We had some fabulous entries last month, so check back on the 29th our winner and top three as chosen by our DT!
As always the theme for our Blog Challenge is -
Anything Goes
but you must use a All Dressed Up Image.
Not got any? There are some gorgeous freebies -} here.
But please respect the rules!
Or you can buy any of Wendy's fab images from the All Dressed Up store -} here.
Now what could be easier than that?

We will randomly pick a winner to receive 3 images of your choice, and our DT will chose their top 3 creations.
My image for this challenge is called Boy's Christmas Stocking and I love the simple lines and I like the idea of a focus on a young boy during he Holidays.  I double matted him in green and Red Plaid on top of a forest of trees.  I kept it simple with 3 different sized wood trees in the corner.  In the inside, using the plaid again, I stamped a sentiment and topped it with a wooden star.

We do hope you will find the time to play along - You have a full month (until the evening of the 14th) to enter your creations.

Always Anything Goes at Craft Your Passion-Masculine Christmas card

This week at Craft Your Passion, we of course celebrate the Always Anything Goes challenge that we have every week!  This weeks sponsor is Di's Digis who will be giving  $10 gift voucher to the winner!
We were given the chance to use any image of our choosing and I picked one from Lacy Sunshine!  This image is called Harry Boos Christmas Tree.  I've always loved Buffalo Plaid for masculine cards and this outdoorsy theme was right up my alley-the digi was perfect for it.  I used some green branch punchies from a friend for accents, also some laser cut wooden trees and a chipboard sentiment.  A stamped Christmas greeting will make it a perfect card for giving this year!

It's still Christmas in July at Sweet Pea Stamps and the One Sweet Challenge!

Continuing on with the Monthly Theme at One Sweet Challenge, It's Christmas in July!  AND that makes it a great time to get started on all your Christmas cards by using one of the many in the Sweet Pea Shop.  The one that I've used is called Merry by Regan Kubecek, a very talented artist among many at SPS!
There's lots of details in the image itself, what with braids, fairy wings, presents, piles of snow all around her, decorated Christmas Trees!  I used a very appropriate design paper in Christmas stripes, a red velvet insert to highlight the silver glitter domes, snow tex on the front hill and Frantage multi-crystal glitter mix/flower soft on the back hill, with silver filigree corner hinges.  I tilted the image a little to get a closer view of the sparkles.  Inside, I used the reverse paper from the stripe, stamped a super verse for Christmas and accented it with a poinsettia flower.
I also want to remind you that our prizes are three digital images if the winner uses an SPS image, or one digital image if the winner does not use an SPS image. Can you give me one good reason why you would not want to use an SPS image? This challenge will end on August 1.

Delicious Doodles Sponsors Seems a Little Sketchy-Show me...Christmas Cards!!

I know , I know we need to fully enjoy the Thanksgiving Holiday before Christmas is upon us...you see, it snowed today...and that led to me playing Christmas music..which led to Christmas Cards, and before I knew it-I was in deep.
This sketch this week at Seems a Little Sketchy just lends itself to a beautiful card!  I'm using an image from our great sponsor, Delicious Doodles, called Christmas Lantern.  I've tilted the sketch a bit but love the way it came together!  This crackle paper from The Paper Studio is a great Holiday paper-I've used it both on the outside and inside.  The candle has gold stickles on it and I used red stickles on the berries.  With the red faceted bling, it really pops.  Join us at SALS for the 2 week challenge-Delicious Doodles will be awarding the winner a choice of 4 free images!

Christmas Cards but in a non-Traditional way-now at Squigglefly!

This is the most fun paper in limes, blues, lavenders so it fits perfect with the theme at Squigglefly this week!  We are to use NON-TRADITIONAL colors for a Christmas Card!  So I used lime green poinsettias with blue berries, lavender candles, blue tree skirt, gorgeous lime sheer wide ribbon-all so yummy!!  More of the paper on the inside with a wonderful stamped verse by Stampabilities.
THIS challenge has sparked my Christmas Festive Spirit and I think it's time to set my extra table set up, get all my card embellies out, and start a marathon session with Christmas music playing in the background!  How about you???  Come and join in the fun at Squigglefly and get your Holiday MOJO on!  You could win a prize if you use a SF image-Mine is called "Christmas Tree with Candles and Holly" by Pammie Lehto.  She would be a good starting place to get some images to use on your creations!

Doodle Pantry is sponsoring "Christmas" over at Fab 'N' Funky

These challenges themed for Christmas are at least getting me in gear to start working on my Christmas Cards !  Fab 'n' Funky challenges everyone to create a Christmas card so here is my entry using Winter Wishes from Doodle Pantry.  From the digital papers, sentiment and image in both a tan fence and red fence, It's all available from this great site.  I threaded a sheer ribbon though the card, added snowflake eyelets and used Flower Soft and Multi Crystal Glitter Mix from Stampendous for the snow mixture on the image.  Hope you will be able to join in the challenge-have fun!
