Sketch Challenge at Come and Get It Challenge! Knitty Kitty is our Sponsor-come out and Play!

I always enjoy making Birthday cards and need several of them -I'm using this adorable image from Knitty Kitty to create my project for the Come and Get It Challenge.  The Theme of this Challenge is to use this Sketch--You will notice that I turned my sketch to accommodate the rectangular shape of my image: called Hanging Around for You. That's the beauty of sketches-they are very versatile!
This is a 6x6 card with multiple layers, an adorable handcolored image and lots of embellies.
On the inside, I used more of the floral paper and a large Birthday Greeting stamp.
CAGI is excited to see YOUR project--we are always an ATG challenge but are now using THEMES each month.  We have great Sponsors for our challenges and it's a great way to win a prize!

My Besties UK Challenge for October 1st has a Theme of Halloween! Wooooooo Will join us??

When I think of Halloween, the colors of purple, green, and orange come to mind!  This week at the My Besties UK Challenge site it's Anything Goes with a theme of Halloween!  I'm sure we will see some BOO-tiful creations!  I'm using the image Daisy "img104" from Sherri Baldy's Store here, and it's a versatile one in that you could really use her for a whole host of seasons.  When I saw her, I instantly thought of black hat and pants, wild purple hair, and orange flowers.
Well I have yet to figure out my problem with the inability to pick up the rich purples on my card by my camera-imagine that all the blues you are seeing are really purple!  I put orange dots on her pants and then put Stickles on top of those.  The image is triple matted with a black glitter cardstock and orange on the back layer.  The card is wrapped with baker's twine with some embellishments of a felt pumpkin and black scary cat.  I am lovin' the multi-colored chevron paper!
On the inside liner, I had some great spooky house paper  that was a recent purchase-so cool!  I used a sentiment from KKS that was matted in orange and purple and this great button that has a black cat in it!  I know several deserving friends that I could send this too--woooooooo will it be?  This Challenge at My Besties UK lasts all month and we'd love to see your creations--Spooky or Fun we love it all and can't wait to see all of you there!
I'd like to enter this in Challenges:

Christmas Release and Blog Hop at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! New "SANTA PAWS"

Good morning and welcome to Day ONE of the Christmas Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!

We're thrilled to be sharing this super sized release featuring NINE joyful new clear stamp sets and you'll be seeing new designs all week long at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps with the release going live on Saturday night!
We're kicking things off with this cutie patootie stamp set by artist, Emilie Goulet for all you animal lovers! We certainly can't forget them at Christmastime!  This set features two ADORABLE images plus three coordinating stamp sets at it's called SANTA PAWS!
And because I have a dear friend that likes cats, I chose the image with the kitty.  I randomly tore 2 layers of white cardstock so that it would look like snow hills and added "Sugar Coating Lily White Glitter" to them. I colored this adorable image with copics and added some flower soft to the ruffles on her dress.  Using a gorgeous pink paper from "Sugar Plum pad by My Minds' Eye" I created a winter scene behind her and added rows of snowflake garland to make it look like snow was falling.  On the inside is a paper from my stash that has a wonderful Christmas verse on it.

All the krafty kustomers who purchased the kit were invited to help out with the peeks today so you'll see lots of extra guest designers as you hop around the blogs today! Bonus!
I know you'll agree that this set is just perfect for the
HOWL-idays!!
Be sure to join us at the LIVE Online Release Party on Saturday night at 6pm EST! We'll be checking out ALL the NINE new clear stamp sets, sharing fabulous creations, giving away prizes and having tons of merry fun!

It's Always Anything Goes at Craft Your Passion! The East Wind is the Sponsor this week!

This week at Craft Your Passion we are continuing with our theme, Always Anything Goes!  I'm sure many of you have Gorgeous Holiday cards or projects to show us.
This week, we are thrilled to have The East Wind as our sponsor and this image is called  Christmas Wreath with Sleepy Cats and Ribbons.  I put it on a 6x6 card, and used it on a Bo Bunny tree paper from their Sleigh Ride Collection.  There's a sentiment embellishment for the corner, pink pearl rope as an accent on the side and chunky white frantage over the whole thing!  I also used liquid pearl and silver gel pen for some bling.   I have just the perfect friend to give this kitty card to!
We can't wait to see your beautiful inspirations-the winner will get 3 images of choice from the East Wind store!

It's a SPOOKY Halloween theme at One Sweet Challenge with Sweet Pea Stamps!

It's time again for some fun , kind-of Spooky Halloween cards at One Sweet Challenge by Sweet Pea Stamps!  I chose Vampire with Cat by Molly Harrison.  She's one of the many talented artists that share their talents at Sweet Pea Stamps.  This month's theme is either Halloween or a creation with Purple/Green/Orange or Black on it.
The back mat is an amazing black glitter paper in black by The Paper Studio. (You can see an orange backdrop glitter page in the background of my picture.)  I have this great cobweb design paper and some embellies that are theme appropriate!  The star of the show is this wonderful image.  I'm having fun experimenting with colored hair and find I'm loving it!  Just step out of your comfort zone and try it!  I put a purple patterned paper behind her to mat the image. Had a little fun on the inside with some quirky skeleton heads and a great stamp along with a cardstock sticker.  I hope you will come and join us at our challenge-we'd love to see the creations you come up with!
