"Down on the Farm" Squigglefly Challenge

It's "Down on the Farm" time at Squigglefly this week and this time of year makes me think of the farmers setting out the fruits of their labor by the road...it might be a clever display of straw bales and mums, or clusters of pumpkins...I know that we used to make several scarecrows and post them all along our split rail fence.  I chose an image by one of SF's talented artists, Marla Shega, called Scarecrow on his Wagon .  I adore all the shading that she puts on her images! I didn't have any farm animals so I though this worked just as well!
I matted the copic colored image on chocolate card stock then use a paper called Pioneer Plaid-so pretty.  The "frame" is a heavy embossed cardstock that I rubbed down with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and mounted on pop dots. I think it makes it look like leather!  I used a 2 sided gloss leaf tucked under the frame like falling leaves.  Then in the opposite corner I had a sticker with a spray of colored leaves-I put three knotted buttons there.  I DO love my buttons!!  Come join us on our weekly challenge and you could win a wonderful image from our artists!
I want to enter this in the Show Me Thursday Challenge at Sassy Cheryl's SMT blog
