Little Red Riding Hood is FRAMED at Squigglefly!

All is right in the world finally this week...we have returned from the 10 day Covered Bridge Festival that occurs every October, we've gotten back into our routine of going to work (moving a little slower however with our muscle aches and soreness), and ***getting back to doing the things that we love--for me, it's getting back to making cards and coloring images.  At Squigglefly, we are having our weekly challenge-Use a Frame on your creation.
What with Trick or Treat coming up shortly, I pulled out an image called Little Red by Fawn Palmer 'cause I could see some child dressing up like Little Red Riding Hood for Halloween!  I used some digital paper and embellies from Doodle Pantry's shop: the leaves,"ribbons", background paper, and pumpkins.  I fancy cut Red and wanted to accent her cutie face so that's where I set the Frame we were to use.  Come join us and perhaps you could win an image!I apologize for the "off" color on the frame photo-it truly does match the green on the card!

  1. Love your card Carolyn! Love how you highlighted Red Riding Hood, but also made the pumpkins really pop!!

  2. Love that image on your card, and you framed her very cleverly! Glad you're back to what makes you happy!

  3. Carolyn,
Little Red looks so very cute and you've used a frame in an awesome way showcasing her adorable face!!

  4. Awesome card, great use of the frame. Hope the covered bridge festival was a blast x

  5. Wonderfully unique way you framed this Carolyn - I love it! Great background paper too!
