New Release of Christmas Images at All Dressed Up Stamps

This is the New Release for November from All Dressed Up Stamps-I'm using the image
It's perfect for the Holidays!
Thought I'd try and use one of my pre-scored Slimline Blanks so that I could use a new
Stamp with the "designed" trees as a background!  It worked perfectly- I just colored different shades of green with my copics.  I reduced the size of this cutie stamp so that it would fit but, as the
images from ADU are digital that was an easy process.
I used dimensional dots to elevate the image for a shadow effect.  The Ho Ho Ho sentiment was also part of the clear acrylic stamp so Bonus!  A little bit of Posca white ink splattered on the card was a great snowy effect. The inside of the card was finished with a beautiful woodgrain effect paper and stamped with a perfect sentiment.

Gift Giving Avery from Paper Nest Dolls--Wintertime!

In order to keep myself cool...still..in Illinois I'm working on several Fall and Winter cards.  This one features "Gift Giving Avery" from the images from The Paper Nest Dolls site.  She's one of their 4 main characters--one of the questions on our Celebration Party post yesterday for gifts, prizes, and giveaways.  Christine Young, resident artist at PND, was so excited about our 5000th Follower to the site.  WooHoo!
Besides coloring Avery with Copics, I added glittered snowballs, mylar ribbon, Wink of Stella in clear, shiny silver snowflakes and white chunky Frantage for the falling snow!  On the inside, I used a complimentary design paper and stamped a rubber sentiment from Hero Arts.  Make sure you visit the blog site on September 3rd for the New Release reveal.

Emma with Camera -from Paper Nest Dolls

This was such a fun image to work with from The Paper Nest Dolls sight!  There's always great opportunities for highlights and folds in Christine's images!  On this Birthday card, I used a torn complimentary color paper to accent the stamped sentiment.  On the inside, I used a creamy tan polka - dot paper with a stamped sentiment that could either be colored in or just left b&w as I did.  Love these wooden cutouts that are so popular in the craft shops-I think I'm addicted to them!
Make sure you visit the PND Challenge site to get your latest card entered--there are lots of opportunities to win images!  We can't wait to see yours there!

Using a Christmas image over at the All Dressed UP Challenge Post-come on over!

I'm having so much fun making up some Christmas cards with all the wonderful digital images over at All Dressed Up!  The one I'm using for this card is called Happy Christmas Little Star.  She looks so festive with green "velvet" dress, red shoes and wings with a Wink of Stella in clear sparkle.  After using a great paper with evergreen wreaths, I used a red sheer bow and gold glittered sprigs accents and 2 deep red faceted gems in the corner.  On the inside, I used a paper printed with a Christmas song and a heavy cardstock printed sentiment for the Holidays.
Our Challenge for the month is ready and waiting for your creation and we are waiting to get inspired by you!  Thanks for stopping by!

New Release Time at All Dressed Up--It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!

I'm so excited to be using this new image of Wendy Burns' from All Dressed Up for the Debut of the New Release for December!  It's so warm and cozy and will be going out to a special couple for the Holiday from my Hubby and me.  I just love it!
I used a vintage like package paper in the background and used sheer ribbon on the corners to look like IT was a package!  After coloring with Copics, I matted the image with a bright green glitter paper-I'm sorry the light isn't picking it up very well.  I used a Christmas stamp from KKS and added a pearl accent on the sentiment.  On the inside I used a favorite Cable Knit sweater paper for one side and on the other side, the present paper again.  I used another KKS stamp and accented it with a snowflake.
There are always 4 new release stamps for the month and this months are so adorable-be sure and check them out on the Challenge.  Be sure to add your entry to the challenge-you get a chance to win some of Wendy's great images.  We can't wait to see your creations!

Using Polkadoodles Image for Wintertime Fun!

This is such an adorable image from Polkadoodles called Holly Bobs Sleigh time.
I absolutely loved coloring this up with copics.  The background I made reminded me of snowflakes falling or maybe even snowballs!  There's a heavy glitter paper in a deep blue that mats the image, then it's laid on a great snowflake paper.  I accented the card with a shiny silver charm-gotta have my bling!  On the inside liner, I used the snowflake paper again and then a Christmas Sentiment with  a snowflake sticker accent.  With all this talk about snow, it looks like we will have the first fall this weekend!  NOT looking forward to that for sure!

It's still Christmas in July at Sweet Pea Stamps and the One Sweet Challenge!

Continuing on with the Monthly Theme at One Sweet Challenge, It's Christmas in July!  AND that makes it a great time to get started on all your Christmas cards by using one of the many in the Sweet Pea Shop.  The one that I've used is called Merry by Regan Kubecek, a very talented artist among many at SPS!
There's lots of details in the image itself, what with braids, fairy wings, presents, piles of snow all around her, decorated Christmas Trees!  I used a very appropriate design paper in Christmas stripes, a red velvet insert to highlight the silver glitter domes, snow tex on the front hill and Frantage multi-crystal glitter mix/flower soft on the back hill, with silver filigree corner hinges.  I tilted the image a little to get a closer view of the sparkles.  Inside, I used the reverse paper from the stripe, stamped a super verse for Christmas and accented it with a poinsettia flower.
I also want to remind you that our prizes are three digital images if the winner uses an SPS image, or one digital image if the winner does not use an SPS image. Can you give me one good reason why you would not want to use an SPS image? This challenge will end on August 1.

I can now announce that I've joined this great group based out of the United Kingdom--Through The Purple Haze or TTPH as you may know it!  It has SO many wonderful sponsors with super images and the members are a varied lot of fun, fun ladies from all over the continents.  It's so Interesting getting to know them and all about their surroundings!
My first challenge with them and open to all is one of our favorites:  Anything Goes!  The sponsor for this anticipated challenge is Zuri Artsy Craftsy and she has a delightful Etsy Store with many different images.  Please go and check out the site-you won't be disappointed.  The image I got to use was "Erika", a super Birthday image--I can Always use those kind of cards.  I had this printed vellum paper with all kinds of shiny confetti on it, along with some dimensional embellishments that were perfect for the theme.  I colored her up with Copics, my favorite coloring pens and gave her a dimensional feel with pop dots.  The sentiment is from my stash as is the inside design paper and wording.  Hope you will come visit Through the Purple Haze and create an entry for us!

Sharing Christmas Card Marathon crafting session!

Every evening when I come home from work, I'm usually found making cards.  Normally, it's to showcase a creation for one of the Design Teams that I'm on.  But occasionally, the Love of the Christmas season lifts me up from a tired day and fills me with the Spirit of the Season.

I'm just here tonight to share the love of the creations I'm inspired to make.  Just thought I'd just display them to bring a smile to your face and maybe give you some ideas and put your fingers to work to make your own creations.
Thank you for taking the time to look them over.  I will say that all of the sentiments, if not stamped, are digital sayings from Doodle Pantry.  That being said, here are many of those cards:
