Inside, I used the complimentary back of the yellow dot paper, chevrons, as the mat around the image. He's brightly colored with copics and topped off with a cardstock sticker with a sentiment. I love buttons so of course there's one on the front with a dotted ribbon. OH, one thing to try is I used my Signo white pen and just squiggled all over the bunny and then just blotted it with my finger. It left a texture over the bunny like fur-a white on white effect. The Start of New Things with 2 CUTE INK! Come enter our Challenge #126-EASTER!
When one door closes, another opens right? I'm so pleased that I was able to find a new home as a Design Team member on 2 Cute Ink! It's an adorable site with all sorts of cute images for all kinds of situations. We will be promoting their images twice a month on Mondays and hope you will find a wonderful image that just fits the bill for your creation! The image that I used is called Hippity Hop-how appropriate that some of the design paper I had had it written all over! I used a wide oval die cut to open the front panel, then cut a smaller oval out of double sided yellow dotted paper to frame him better and inserted it from the back.
Inside, I used the complimentary back of the yellow dot paper, chevrons, as the mat around the image. He's brightly colored with copics and topped off with a cardstock sticker with a sentiment. I love buttons so of course there's one on the front with a dotted ribbon. Eiglassing Digitals is sponsoring a ATG Challenge at Through the Purple Haze
The neat thing about joining International Design Teams is that you get exposed to digital companies that you may have never heard of but, are very interesting. Such is the case with Through the Purple Haze and their challenge using Eiglassing Digitals. The one here is called Bowl of Daffodils. I just so happen to have the perfect double sided designer paper as you can see in the picture!! I'm using this as a Mother's Day card-so feminine with the flowers, lace and stickles for a little bling.
While the flowers are a mixture of jonquils, daffodils, and narcissus I believe, the paper sets it all off nicely. Be sure to check out our next challenge this next month at Through the Purple Haze!

The East Wind sponsors us at Through the Purple Haze
Well, this is a strange turn of events! This will actually be my 4th and last DT entry for Through the Purple Haze as they are closing up shop. Due to health and Family obligations, the owner has decided it is time to call it quits and that's fair. One has to put those issues first and foremost in your life. I will be sad to see them close as they had neat sponsors and are great gals, but New Things are on the horizon for me that are exciting and will keep me busy. More on that to come shortly.
I FINALLY got to use an East Wind image-so one goal accomplished! Boy the detail on this image is amazing and often times, I wished I had made the digital a bit larger! But I had FUN! I made the card focused on the image as a "thinking of you/love" example. Used an over-sized zinnia paper flower to give her something to "sit" on and then of course the sentiment. This could be used for any event.
I wish everyone in the group the very best, the best of health, and a happy life. Thanks for the opportunity to be in your group, even for a short time. There will be challenges through the end of the month but not for my group. So I hope you will visit them through March 30th.*** Well there has been an update on the TTPH website and a change of command! Under new management, the Challenge Site will switch to a monthly Challenge Blog with many of it's Great Sponsors returning. So NOW, on March 30th (so close to April 1st), watch for the new challenge on TTPH. Glad they were able to revise it and hope you will support the new and improved TTPH.

INKY Impressions- Having a BOY THEME Challenge at Southern Girls Challenge!
Have you ever needed a "Thank-You" card for your child's Teacher? Something that they went above and beyond about, for giving your child a needed word of encouragement, for something that your child finally understood because of their patience??? Well, that is what I based by card on this week using Teacher's Pet-Christopher from Inky Impressions. They are a new sponsor for us at Southern Girls Challenge and I just love their digital images! I found some great "School Themed" paper, used a mat made with a gorgeous shimmery cardstock called "Fairway" from The Paper Cut as well as their Manila File in Gold-Both Winners! Added a strip of grosgrain ribbon with 2 metal button accents-just reeks boyhood. Inside I used a ruled school paper cardstock with additional cardstock accents. Come and join us for this 2 week challenge at SGC--It's BOY THEME! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Masculine Birthday using Tool Theme!
I'm having such fun making these masculine Birthday cards-these would even be cute for your kids to give to their Fathers! The "tool" image is so realistic with the shadow casts... I've always had lots of charms around-used to sell them on Ebay-so I decided to add a saw and a ruler charm to the stretch of Rickrack that accents this card. The 2 design papers are from the same set at Doodle Pantry as well as the sentiments. I needed this set quickly so these pre-colored sets work SO well! Put them on a card blank and do some matting and gluing and you've got a card.

Mr. Spike from Doodle Pantry makes an appearance on a masculine Birthday Card
I'm working on some FUN cards this evening for Birthdays~I just love this cute bulldog called Mr. Spike! The design paper, pre-colored image, sentiments, and bone accents are all from the set from Doodle Pantry called Mr. Spike. I used some Chipboard letters, a button that had a red fire hydrant in the middle (couldn't believe my luck with that one!), and Crystal Stickles on the collar spikes.
The great thing about Laurie's' images is that since they're in png format, you can move all the parts and pieces around in your printing system and be ahead of the game by printing several images where you want them first, then add more embellishments afterwards. Hope you will go check out her site!

Here's another card made from the same set with a different set of papers. See how versatile it is?

Scrapper's Delights~Anything Goes~Through the Purple Haze=GREAT CHALLENGE This week!!!
I'm so DELIGHTED to be showcasing my third Team entry for the DT at Through the Purple Haze. They have awesome sponsors and this week it is "Anything Goes" and you know how we ALL love that! They are being sponsored by Scrapper's Delights and I'm using one of their FREEBIES! See what you could be using??
I admit this is a step out of my Comfort Zone because I've never tried this wild hair coloring that's all the rave right now! BUT, I've decided I think it's a lot of fun! I was inspired by the sample they showed at Scrapper's Delights. To give her a "base", I added some great grass paper from my stash as well as some "cloud" paper. It's my fav! I used foam dots under the image for dimension-I knew that the balloon strings would get lost in my "fancy cut" on the image so I used blur & white baker's twine, tied around the end and looped back through the backside of the image. The inside has 2 panels of coordinating blue & rose strips with a sentiment for Birthday's. The circle sentiment is from the internet and is such fun-I love swirly font!

Baby Boys Rock! It's time for a Miracle from above-Doodle Pantry
It is such a funny situation that all of a sudden there is a great need for Baby Boy cards! Well I pulled out my trusty file from Doodle Pantry called Miracle from Above for the adorable Teddy Bear. Mounted him on some more designer paper from DP, used a great flecked beige cardstock called Milkweed from The Paper Cut as the mat, and strips of a holographic star paper and blue embossed dotted swiss cardstock and ~buttons~ (my fav). On the inside I used a soft blue sentiment paper, baby verse from my stash and another accent from Doodle Pantry out of a set called Teeny Butterflies.

St. David's Day celebration with Kenny K and Through the Purple Haze!
I was so happy to get the chance to help out my newest DT group, Through the Purple Haze, by covering for a member that was under the weather. Hope you're on the way to recovery Pam!
The neat thing is that I got to use an image from Kenny K Downloads called Farmers Daughter! She's adorable~
NOW the best part of this challenge is that "across the pond" they will be celebrating St. David's Day soon. I admit that I had to brush up on my geography and traditions to get the true grasp of what a big deal this is. I found flags in black & gold, Welsh flags in green, white, and red with a big red dragon in the middle and gorgeous daffodils. Now that's a whole lot of "stuff" to get worked into a card even by someone in the USA! But now you can understand my choice of mat and background design paper and the white buttons with black & white baker's twine. The Welsh flag colors show up
in her "Farmers" clothes and hat. No dragon lol, but think I got everything else accounted for. In the inside I added some complimentary paper and a pretty sentiment. I hope you've enjoyed learning about the Welsh celebration and my card. Be sure and go enter in our Weekly challenge at Through the Purple Haze.

Last post for Doodle Pantry! Lovely Baby Boy card~
I was getting this little baby boy's card finished up this evening and realized that I could still list it on Doodle Pantry! The magic hour is at midnight tonight when the Ball will be over but, until then I can post 1 more thing~ It's from a set called Lucky Lamb and is so precious to be used for babies, springtime, Easter, St. Patrick's Day... very versatile.
I used the little butterfly paper from Lauries' Teeny Butterfly set, placed a sheer green ribbon over the end, popped the lamb up with foam dots, and used the curved sentiment from the set. He has such an adorable face!
The inside I used a paper from my stash, some gorgeous glimmer cardstock from The Paper Cut called Bluebell, and then a vellum sentiment from an assorted page of baby boy sentiments.
I'm so thankful I have such a wonderful digital library compliments of super creators like Laurie from The Doodle Pantry. Please continue to follow that great site and all the talented designers. There's much more to come!
