Recycle Time down at the Hoedown! Chomp Chomp

Boy this challenge was right up my alley as I LUV to use scraps on cards-the perfect opportunity right? On this Hambo Hoedown challenge we needed to use the GOAT digi image by Hambo Stamps  AND recycle in the spirit of Going Green Month.  It is also over at Scrapbook Place Blog Challenge, where the DT is celebrating Recycling also!
Every piece of paper is leftover from previous projects-I decided to incorporate by love of paper piecing by taking my "bale of hay" and layering shredded sections onto the bale for dimension.  I even stuck some in the goat's mouth (instead of showing his beard I made it look like he was eating the hay).
I angled the plank paper I had to make it look like flooring and by adding the shorter  wood paper it makes it look more like a room-at least that was my goal!  This image comes with 3 sayings so it really makes it versatile.  Be sure and check out all their great stamps, challenges and watch for the May 18th Blog Hop where they will feature "Channel Surfing", keying off the old TV shows we used to all watch!  Sounds like fun!
BEST IN SHOW FROM HAMBO 4/29/2012--Yeah!

    1. Thanks Mel! I have this "picture" of what I look like when I'm doing other things like say on the drive to and from work...these ideas in many forms are just floating all around my head-kind of like the rings on Saturn LOL. Parents used to call me "Idea Carolyn" when I was young.
