All Dressed Up FEBRUARY New Releases

**To my Followers, my apologies for being gone for so long.  I have been having some surgeries, kidney and hand recently, and have just not been up to par to sit at the computer.  Hopefully that is all behind me and you will see more postings.

On a much more interesting topic, This is the date for the All Dressed Up Stamps NEW RELEASES and  my card is made using the image "Kitty Hearts".  There are so many ways to color her in-I used copics- and even her hair could be colored using a line technique as I did or, in highlight shading.

As she was sitting on a branch, I decided to create a scene where she is sitting among the tall trees looking up to the sunny blue sky.  I used a tree template from The Stencil Market and cloud stencil and sentiment from my stash.

There are many images by our resident Artist, Wendy Burns, in the All Dressed Up Store .   There is also a month long challenge that starts on the 15th of each month and it can be found here .  Come join us!

Who's ready for the BEACH?! I know I sure am! Well....maybe not all the hot sand and sunburns but pretty paper and ink, I can handle! ;)
Check out the fabulous images and fun sentiments in this new summer stamp set called BEACH BLANKET BINGO!
This surf-sational new set has three awesome images plus SIX fun-tastic sentiments!
It's also challenge day and our hostess is Krafty Girl, Kimmie!

This was a fun card to make what with the cute Kitty dancing the Hula, the Hawaiian design paper, sea shell paper, bubbles die cut, and some great beachy charms!  On the inside I used a comparable paper-reminds me of bubbles under the sea!  And I used a KKS sentiment  on the front and inside-one from this BBB set and another comparable stamp from another KKS Artist---they are so versatile how they're inter-changeable!

And as always during release week, the challenge is ANYTHING GOES! So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with any stamp but if you use a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp you'll double your chances to WIN!! Come and Get It Challenge is ATG ! Our sponsor is Knitty Kitty-how exciting!

This week at Come and Get It Challenge, we are showing off our Embossing Talents!  Of course, it's an Always Anything Goes Challenge so there's no reason you can't just join in the fun!  Our Sponsor is Knitty Kitty and this image is called Deep Sea Diver.  It is such a FUN image with so many options!  I have been saving this fantastic green/blue swirl paper that reminds me of the papers you used to make with the oil floating on top of water.  Perfect for sea water?  After coloring up the diver with Copics, it was on to Embossing.  I'm a Frantage nut so that was my solution.  I think you can
see it along "the sea floor" around his Flippers.  I used Aged Teal Frantage, a mixture of golds and teal embossing enamel.  I continued it up into the water area and mixed it among the seaweed, fish and bubbles.  I put a mask over the diving helmet the kitty's using and eventually coated it with Glossy Accents.  I used a small bubble die cut  next to the triple matted image and then used some gifted branchies in browns, spring green and mint green in a cluster, with a string bow and accented with a pewter sea shell.  On the inside, I used the reverse of the green water paper which was anchors.  The sentiment stamp is from KKS and a great sentiment to give a guy--hummm maybe at Father's Day!
So I hope we will see you at our Challenge so that you can inspire us with your creations!
