Horace & Boo from Polkadoodles are heading for the Garden

I'm visiting with my friends over at Polkadoodles again...this time with Horace & Boo with their Wheelbarrow found here. They're in the Garden and have a full load, complete with a mouse!

There is so much detail going on with this digital stamp that I almost got out the colored pencils.  But I used my trusty Copics -I had fun making the dog into a Dalmatian.   Using the In love with Autumn paper pack, I pictured them walking down to the vege garden, looking for the last of the yummy goodies of the season.  Just like we are doing at our house.

I used a scrap strip of yellow polka-dotted paper, stamped a friend sentiment on it and put a bronze ribbon slide on it and used it as a banner on the print.  I felt it was a great time to use my highly popular cloud stencil as a backdrop. I'm so in love with the fluffy look of this!  I then added some orange jute twine along with some wooden stars and popped the whole creation up on foam dots for some dimension.

On the finished inside, again using the Autumn papers, I kept it simple with a paper stripe in the corner and a simple friendship sentiment from my collection.

Thanks for looking at my Polkadoodles creation-Come visit us again soon!

A Fall Birthday card using Rosie Love Letters Img 752 from Sherri Baldy

This spectacular Fall image is called Lil Rascals Rosie Love Letters Img 752 by Sherri Baldy and can be found in the shop here.
I can get so lost in coloring up these gorgeous images, thinking of the turning leaves, the smell of a bonfire or a wood stove starting up, Hoodie weather-for ME that's the bomb.
Since I'm always getting asked about Birthday cards, that's where I went with this card.  It's a 6x6 card, so lots of room to add papers, My "thing" also.  My daughter says I could probably open a LSS all my myself lol.  On the inside, I used the same paper as on the front and then a die cut--It's a SSU  stamp for the sentiment.  You can find many many for images for all occasions at Sherri's shop.  Have fun Getting Lost yourself!

Reminder that Color It Create It Show It Off has a Challenge going on--ATG

This is my reminder for you to to come join our Challenge over at Color It Create It Show It Off!  I'm using Lil Rascals: Lil Rosie Fall Days, Image 670 from Sherri Baldy.  Such a great chance to use all the Fall colors that I love.  Besides triple matting her in a sparkly burgundy and coffee brown cardstock, I love using this burlap paper and the brown wildflowers paper.  Accented the corner with 2 faceted burgundy Gemstones.  On the inside I sued the patterned paper again, and a sentiment for a Birthday card.  2 more smaller faceted stones for some bling and we're all set.
Come on over and visit our site and join in the Challenge-we'd love to see your creations!

JUNE Guest Designer at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps-SO Excited! Theme this week is DIE CUTS!

I'm so thrilled to be asked to be the June Guest Designer for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!  I LOVE all of her stamps, whether in rubber or clear acrylic.  And she has so many interesting Designers that contribute their work to her site!  The one I'm using as my introduction to the monthly Team is from the Let's Dish The Dirt Set, artist is Cheryl Alger.
Because I drew sunflower type flowers in the cart I used a complimentary paper for the square card.  This dp is reversible so I pulled up the corner in the front and secured it with my rolled flowers (there's my Die Cuts).  The sentiments that you see are also from this retired set.  On the inside liner, I HOPE that you see that I was trying to make it look like he was playing in the dirt with my distressing.  This stamped phrase is from another set from KKS--I use them everywhere.

Thank You Mom! 2 CuteInk has adorable images!

Isn't this digi called "Sunflower Girl" from 2 CuteInk adorable?  I love her simple lines and great details making the finished project so easy to do. There are many digitals found in the Etsy shop of 2 CuteInk here  We have Anything Goes Challenges every 2 weeks with great prizes.
The image was colored with copics and then, using a 4.75 x 4.75 card blank from The Paper Cut (great smooth finish by the way) I double matted it with a perfect design paper-With SUNFLOWERS!  Added a sentiment from my computer and it's all ready for either a Mother's Day card or just a Thank you for your favorite person.
