I'm visiting with my friends over at Polkadoodles again...this time with Horace & Boo with their Wheelbarrow found here. They're in the Garden and have a full load, complete with a mouse!
There is so much detail going on with this digital stamp that I almost got out the colored pencils. But I used my trusty Copics -I had fun making the dog into a Dalmatian. Using the In love with Autumn paper pack, I pictured them walking down to the vege garden, looking for the last of the yummy goodies of the season. Just like we are doing at our house.
I used a scrap strip of yellow polka-dotted paper, stamped a friend sentiment on it and put a bronze ribbon slide on it and used it as a banner on the print. I felt it was a great time to use my highly popular cloud stencil as a backdrop. I'm so in love with the fluffy look of this! I then added some orange jute twine along with some wooden stars and popped the whole creation up on foam dots for some dimension.
On the finished inside, again using the Autumn papers, I kept it simple with a paper stripe in the corner and a simple friendship sentiment from my collection.
Thanks for looking at my Polkadoodles creation-Come visit us again soon!

Love is up in the Air for All Dressed Up Stamps' Challenge
I knew when I first saw the image "Wedding Balloon" at All Dressed Up Stamps that I had to use it to build up my Engagement/shower/wedding cards! It's so beautiful by Wendy Burns!
Not only are the couple "floating" in the clouds, but so is the paper they're stamped on with the use of pop dots. Using the newest clouds stencil on the market, I've been having a ball making my backgrounds. I need a little more practice on them but I love the puffiness of them. *On a side note, I feel a kinship with hot air balloons. The Blanchard side of my heritage is best known for being the first hot air balloonist in France-his "contraption even had a set of large Wings attached for "lift"? I guess. I've seen many illustrations of his balloon in our history pages and on retail merchandise even.
On the inside, I used floral cream and pink paper to coordinate with the front. I used a sheer sticker Love sticker then I add some absolutely gorgeous, heavy, embroidered lace that is accented with sequins and pink satin thread. What a finish to this card-I hope you like it as much as I do!

Winnie from Polkadoodles is on the Beach for One last time!
Many of us across the country are trying to get one last trip to the Beach, a vacation if you can find a place open, time with the Family. Well, Winnie, from Polkadoodles Stamp and Papercrafting Co., wants to get some sun and rest before heading back to work or school!
I used Copics to color her image from the Polkadoodles Shop called Winnie Starfish/Sandcastle- Relaxing Sunlounger -What FUN! I used some of the copic florescent colors so it would show off her "tan". Matted her on some "wavy" paper and then used some papers from the Digital Mermazing Ocean Papers that Polkadoodles also carries-see the fish in the blue paper? These are so easy to print out any time that you need them. The cute sentiment is also digital and is from a collection of FREE phrases and sentiments offered on their website. I attached an blue epoxy dot and edged it in turquoise up in the corner. A little bit of satin ribbon from my stash and she's complete! I finished the inside with some soft yellow paper, just waiting for a verse or greeting as the need dictates.
Thank you for taking a look at my fun beachy card-I had such a good time creating her!

It's time for a ZEN moment with All Dressed Up Stamps' New Release
We all know that slimline cards are all the rage right now~ That is the format that I used for this New Release from All Dressed Up Stamps. The image is called Reach High and can be found in the shop here.
I made my base out of standard cardstock, with a few cuts. I wish I could claim this background as my own; however, it is a digital print that I had saved on my computer. I colored the image with copics, then fancy cut it out to apply to the paper. I had this neat "space" like paper so used it for the yoga mat and the "sun" sentiment mat. The sentiment and yoga mat are both from TGF digital files and are saved as png's. On the inside, I used embossed hand made paper in a random bubble pattern. There are 2 dimensional stickers for the greeting.
There are 4 new releases from our Artist in residence, Wendy Burns--you need to check them out right away!

Starting to see some Fall Halloween images over at Polkadoodles!
This image is called Amelia Witch- Toad and can be found here. She's got a jar of wet, slimy eyeballs in her jar, like she's going to be casting a spell on that Toad by her foot! I colored her with Copics, used a digital Halloween paper in the background along with a full Moon over her shoulder. Adding some dyed Schiff rayon bias tape in wine color, I wrapped it around the bottom of the card, tied a cluster bow and glued some black glossy beads to it's center. The inside is finished as always with a complimentary paper-this one I left blank, no sentiment, in case I need it for a Birthday, Thank you, or Happy Halloween!
Maybe if we think about the Fall Season it will get cooler! It sure has been hot here in the Midwest! Thanks for stopping by!
You can see the step-by-step process I used to get to this end result of Amelia on the Polkadoodles Crafting Post here: https://polkadoodlescraft.blogspot.com/2020/08/create-spooky-project-and-get-organised.html?mc_cid=7819814218&mc_eid=5606d4026c . Hope you enjoy!
