It's Christmas at Sherri Ann Baldy's! A Winter Wonderland~
What a great way to start off the most marvelous month in the year than with a Sherri Baldy image called "Snow Girl scan 0001". I just love her and think you can just feel the cold winter night surrounding her. I darkened the sky around her to get that icy feeling-I'm loving the raspberry and khaki colors for her clothes and the owl. I used some glittery/snow mixture around her feet for some sparkle. The background paper is so neat-it has the look of a cable knitted sweater-perfect for those winter cards. I actually found these flat (great for cards) glitter crusted leaves in the Christmas aisle at my local HL-easy to snip and trim to size. Tucked some white wispy feathers and used a frosted pale pink flower to finish the corner. On the inside, I used a star glittered cardstock in pale pink and silver and stamped a great sentiment. Come and join us at many of Sherri's Challenges from all over the world! Here's a great one for you here.

Always Anything Goes at Craft Your Passion-Sasakayi Glitter is our sponsor!
This week at Craft Your Passion our theme is Always Anything Goes and SasaKayi Glitter is our kind sponsor. One of her images that I like a lot is Winter Peggy! You will see "Peggy" is several different settings-but this one is appropriate for this cold weather we've been having here in the Midwest.
I am using a digital colored background that I purchased from Make It Crafty-it's perfect for Peggy! After coloring her with copics, I put mini pop-dots on the back to give it a little more dimension. After matting the background with a festive red, all I had to add was some Bling
I used some flat winter white foliage that had tons of glitter on it and added touches of white and red feathers for that whimsical feel. On the inside, I used a festive red/white snowflake paper with a great sentiment for the Holidays. Let us see your beautiful work! The winner will get a Sasakayi digital image of their choice!

Bingo Challenge over at Crafting When We Can
As this post is after the Thanksgiving Holiday (in the States that is), I hope all my friends had a great Turkey Day with your family and friends.
It's sort-of the launch into the Christmas season and with that in mind, I'm using an image from Devil Cait Designs and the image is called Tracy. With this Crafting When We Can Challenge, we are to use a Bingo Board. I'm using Buttons, Animal, and Snowflakes (on the paper). In addition, I colored her glasses like candy canes, a Cardinal (my fav bird), and accented with striped Graphic 45 papers. The red velvet ribbon is SO Christmas and the shiny gold ribbon slide really shows it off. On the inside liner, I've used the coordinating textured Cardinal paper and a Christmas sentiment.
Come on over and join in our Challenge. We'd love to see your creations!

Come and Get It Challenge Blog is showing GET WELL cards! Sponsor is Time for Tea Designs--Wheee!
I had such FUN making this "action" card for Come And Get It Blog Challenge! It's an image called "Sledding" by Time for Tea Designs and was such fun to color!
I used a beautiful heavy embossed cardstock with snowflakes everywhere for the bottom half on the card and a lightweight swirled specialty paper with silver embossed "swirly snowflakes"-at least in my mind.
I matted the image & sentiment with a shimmery purple cardstock from the Paper Cut. I added dots of snow by using some white Liquid Pearls. Then, the most fun I had was adding sprays of "snow" by using white feathers from the craft store. It worked just perfectly! Added some Aqua "goosebumps" in the corners for some faceted accents. On the inside, I finished off with using the same papers as on the front (you can really see the embossing better) and a sentiment created on the computer.
If this doesn't make a person get out of a sick bed and get outside, I don't know what will! We would love for you to come over to our 1 week Challenge and show us your creation! The winner will get 3 images!

For this challenge, I've decided to use a great image from Wendy Burns called Autumn Girl. I love this image-puts me in the season of Thanksgiving! After coloring her in copics, I used a wood/flower border design paper and topped it off with some beautiful flowers and a stamp from KKS. On the inside of the card, I used some burnt orange stripe paper with another sentiment from KKS.
I hope you enjoy and will join us in our latest challenge!

Always Anything Goes at Craft Your Passion- Come and see Fabrika Fantasy's images
This joyful Christmas card is for our Anything Goes Challenge at Craft Your Passion. This time we are sponsored by Fabrika Fantasy and this image is called Winter Games. It comes in both a b&w image as well as a colored one. Because I had an emergency in my family this week, I elected to use the pre-colored image. That's the beauty of having the choice-those last minute cards we all need!
I used a great paper pack from Gina K. Designs called Home for the Holidays. After matting the image with a cheerful green, I used 2 of the different patterned papers and a sentiment from KKS. I added an iridescent ribbon with a cluster of jingle bells to accent.
On the liner inside, I offset the designer paper and another KKS sentiment, perfect for the season.
We can't wait to have you enter our challenge! The winner will get 3 digital images from Fabrika Fantasy-show us your creations!

Crafting When We Can is sponsored by Devil Cait Designs--Getting my Christmas on!
I designed a card for Crafting When We Can using an image called Annie by Devil Cait Designs. The theme was to use a circle(s). She has several feminine portraits that look beautiful on your projects.
Since Christmas is so near, I tried to create a different kind of card, not using the traditional colors. I thought she looked kind of vintage so found some matching patterned papers in a greenish blue. I added the round doily under the oval die cut portrait. I had some silver star sequins that I randomly placed-then glued down 3 different lengths of white narrow satin ribbon, as if the stars were hanging from the ribbon. A few branches of white pine boughs caught by some silver stars and an aged Christmas sentiment finish out the card front.
On the inside liner, I used a banner of the same paper and some crackled beige paper with another sentiment from a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps set.

I instantly thought the image needed some bling, sparkle and great Festive paper to celebrate the Girls! It was a great chance to create different looks for them-almost like paper dolls & dress-up. I tilted the card at an angle so that you could see the stickles I used. I scattered silver and red sequins around as accents-they bring out the random glitter pattern on the red handmade paper layer. On the inside liner, I used again the Christmas Decorations paper and a wonderful Christmas sentiment. I sure love getting my Christmas cards done early and these images at All Dressed Up make it so easy to pick some winners to share with your loved ones.
Our Blog Challenge
ending on the eve of the 14th
and our Facebook Challenge
ending on the last day on the month.
The current theme is Celebrations
Hope to see your creations on the challenge and keep those wonderful cards coming!

All Dressed Up is sponsoring us over at Come and Get It Challenges--Let's see your Creations!
This is such a fun card to create! At the Come and Get It Challenge, we are so thrilled to be sponsored by the great group at All Dressed Up and this image is called "Smile it's your Birthday". We're always needing birthday cards aren't we!!
It's such a cheery image, I just felt the urge to use some Spring colors and flowers PLUS the twist on the challenge was to pick a row from our "recipe" card. My choice was to use "Blue, Multi-layered, and Flowers". Think I got all of them in! Anyone that truly knows me knows I'm a Libra so hence, I like things on a page straight and balanced. So this card was a real challenge for me but I'm liking all the angles! That's rub-on stitching around the edges of the design papers. On the inside, I used one of the patterned papers and a great birthday sentiment. Put a couple of pink bling flowers on the edge for some pretty accents. Come on over for our weekly Challenge and a chance to win some images from our sponsors! Can't wait to see your creations!
